The 4 door grows on you. I hated them when I saw them, not because they weren't "true jeeps", but because they looked so awkward.

Now I drive one

Most of the time....people that roll down their windows are not gonna yell about your driving...theyre gonna ask about your jeep...

Same here. At first I really didn't like the Unlimited and just had my reservations about the way it looked, and then I saw one on big tires and thought to myself, "That thing looks totally badass!" After seeing that particular Unlimited, I pretty much had to have an Unlimited.

I've probably repeated myself in no fewer than five threads about why I chose a limited, so I'm not going to do that, but I'll just say I needed the extra space and a two door model was not an option.

And it's YOUR Jeep. As long as you're happy with it, nothing else matters.

Oh, it goes far beyond "happy!" I absolutely LOVE IT! No, it's not a hotrod, but damn is it fun!

I have learned that:

birds love my jeep as well, they like to perch on the sound bar when it's topless (i.e. cover the seats when topless)!

I too, have never loved a vehicle as much as my Jeep.

My husband can't wait for the weekend so he can get behind the wheel. God only knows where we end up!

ALWAYS know of a place to duck into to put the top up when it starts to pour!

I am the coolest mom ever by my son and his friends, too.

When guys want to look in my Jeep, they are ALL shocked I can drive a stick

The yard work is not as important on sunny days.

Everyone on the beach looks twice when you ride by. Everyone with a Jeep will chat if you stop.

Forums are addictive.

That when it comes time to take the top off you better hope that there is no loose dirt or anything inside because it will all go into your eyes.

I swear it's like it just all aims for my eyes or something lol

That "obstacles" changed from "things to avoid" to "things to drive over."

First, chicks dig jeeps
Second, the are the best toy a kid could ask for
Third, if it's lifted fat chicks can't get in (major plus)
Fourth, I will be broke until the day I die
Fifth, the ball breeze is the best on a hot summer day (only guys will understand this)
Sixth, having bad gas on a fist date is ok. It's so windy you can't smell it anyways...
Seventh, 99% of people give you weird looks as they drive by (both good and bad)
Eighth, i can make traffic slow down because I don't feel like speeding up. It wastes to much gas
Ninth, Driving in the rain is pure enjoyment.
(btw I skipped 8........I bet you feel dumb now that you went back to look)

Gas light? Don't need no stinking gas light! Run it till the engine sputters.

I pull in after that first hard stop or sharp corner makes the engine cough.

that ever since i got my jeep, the hardest decision in life for me is to pick whether I want to drive this:

or this when i wake up:

I enjoy driving the jeep as much as I do riding the bike. That says a lot about how much fun it is. I would never pick a car over a bike. The jeep, changes everything!

This is my 3rd Jeep, but some things hold true no matter the model.

-Gas cans on a Jeep are NOT just for looks, it's a necessity.

-The words, "fast and economical" aren't in a Jeep owners vocabulary.

-If your friends, co-workers or family members don't own a Jeep you can be sure they are bored with how much you talk about it. They will never understand until they own one.

-If your a woman in a modded Jeep, most men start off looking at the Jeep and then get an, "wow" look on their face.

-Some mornings enie-menie-minie-mo is the only way to decide what to drive to work.

Ive learned if i take a box of oatmeal to work, and pack a lunch i can afford to buy more stuff for my jeep sooner.

Ive learned how to put the top up in less than 4 minutes!!!!

For the record i own an LJ, and i wave at every jeep i see and get a little pissed if they dont wave back.

Ive also found out how much chicks dig wranglers.

Ive also learned to clean the mud off before one of those above mentioned chicks, thinks its a good idea to write in the mud on the side of my black jeep, causing me to have to buff the scratches out of the paint!!!!
