The attitude isn't because I think I'm better than you. The attitude is because I don't trust you and you're in my space. I don't know you, and maybe I'm a little paranoid, but I'd rather you just stay over there and leave me alone during my mundane tasks.

I would never do that to a woman alone, for that exact reason...I might say "nice Jeep" or something while staying in my place at the pump, for example. I have a sensitivity to invade a strange woman's space. Not being sexist, just realistic.

I understand, it has caught me off guard when others ask me questions while pumping gas. This is my first jeep and I don't remember being at the gas station this much. But I always talk, I always wave, and I try to answer question about going wheeling. (limited knowledge myself) I will agree that some of the JK guys can be a bit rude.

You would be surprised how many people don't understand this. I had a guy stop me from closing my car door so he could give me a flier for his photography business. He was lucky he wasn't pepper sprayed.

My 10 year old nephew told me the same thing this summer. I told him I wouldn't be finished with it by then. He looked very disappointed... So, I turned to his Dad and told him to buy his son a Jeep.

No no no, it's not a real Jeep unless it has a Pentastar under the hood. As long as you enjoy it, who care what anyone else thinks.

That shows an inability, on her part, to learn.

The YJ is the one with square headlights produced between 87-95, TJ came next with round headlights and coil springs between 97-06, and in 2007 came the JK

thank you for clarifying! I am learning...slowly but surely! I caught on to the wave mostly because I constantly am observing my whereabouts but mostly because the "wave" or "nod" thing is also observed by bike enthusiasts and years ago I got my bike license - i do love them all, though - makes no difference what model !
