What kind of "Jeepin" do you enjoy?

Since I've been in this Jeep thing I've seen the evolution of a few rigs from folks I know. I agonize over mods and what makes the most sense for what I want to do. Just wondering who all is into what. Like minded Jeepers may be interested to know what kind of trouble each of us is into and how we are building our Heep to do what we want to do.

That being said I think I'm more of an expedition minded fella more so than a mudder or full on rock hound. I enjoy getting out on the trails and perhaps on a rocky path or two but it's more for the adventure than to see if I've "brung" enough tackle an obsticle. I definately want to be more capable to handle most any situation I may find myself in but I don't see me getting into anything competitive.

What about you guys... and gals?

I didn't vote. I enjoy most of your choices. Not just one. Not so much mud anymore but I'll play in a puddle from time to time.

Good poll idea though.

I went with Expedition because I cant afford to make a Rock Crawler.
I would be happy with a all-around performer though.

I like the expo. type of trail riding, but I have to say I really like playing on the rocks around here. That is why there is a bit of armor underneath. Rocks are not forgiving.

I like the mud every once in a while, but I have issues with mud...tends to break crap.

Thanks for the poll.

Im ALL ABOUT expeditions and exploring. I love to find new trails and just run them and be ready to handle the consequences. Usually I wheel with my buddy but sometimes I go out alone too (with a co-pilot though), so my Jeep is pretty much equipped to handle most situations. Hi-lift, winch, first aid kit, blanket, flashlight, tools, spares, straps, shackles, CB...ya never know what could happen, best to be ready!

I like expedition and mud. Most of my jeeping is exploring old logging/forestry roads and trails.

i didnt see a choice for the pavement pounders? i was looking for "cruising the beach with the top and doors off and loaded with friends" option but didnt see it. I want to get into trail riding and mudding but i'm trying not to break anything as everything is expensive for a 17year old who drives his jeep 40+miles a day for school and whatever else pops up

Definitely expedition.
The whole idea for me is to get out and find new places and get as far from other people as I can.

I like to explore but I also like to play in the rocks. I've gotten to the point where I don't care for playing in the mud very much.

My favorite thing to do is run a trail that has a good mix of scenery with some challenges and rock gardens thrown in along the way. My Jeep is still my daily driver, so I'm not very hard core when it comes to crawling, but I still like a challenge.

Anything off the pavement, I dont do mud, we have no rocks in Florida and most trails are on private property. Did I mention I'm jealous of everyone west of Colorado. I may have a better tan than you guys, but you've mountains, I miss mountains.

i dont like the mud wheeling like just going through mud bogs and there arend many like rock wheeling places here so I just go through the woods basicly, its a mixture of mud rocks, down trees, brush, mud on rocks, moss on rocks, tall grass, idk i like it I basicly just go over the snowmobiling trails up here, so there's no trees in the way but no one in a vehicle has been over it to make a track
