i would say go on the website, see what is says and subtract 3 from the around town and add 2 to the highway and thats what you'll get if you keep your foot out of the gas pedal

both of ours are daily drivers...we moved from a 2001 Dodge Ram in July to the 06, and a 2004 Durango to the 2007 in August...

we've always wanted one (at least) and had Jeep products in the past we loved, but ended up selling/trading for one reason or another...(A Comanche, Grand Waggoneer, and a Cherokee). found a smoking deal on the 06 SE, then again on the 07 JK. now i need a CJ!

Of course both of ours are pavement queens thus far

06 Tj 4 cyl= best #s 16 city, 22 hwy (tops and doors on, 65 mph avg) but i never got teh doors on!!!!

07 Yj V6= best cit 18.1, hwy 22.325

Total impulse buy when I walked onto a Carmax lot. I always wanted a jeep as a kid, well now I can afford it and make it into what ever i want it to be.

When I was about 13, I decided that they were "cool" and that was the vehicle that I wanted to drive. I finally bought one when I was 18, took it to a Jamboree, and have been hooked badly ever since. I am on my 3rd Wrangler, and my wife has decided that this one is family, and I am not allowed to sell it... EVER for any reason.

Too good of a deal to pass up....one can never have too many vehicles.

Year: 2002
TJ: 1999 SE 5 speed with 13K on it. Bone stock w/ Kenwood head unit and A/C
Price: 12K

PS....Kenwood stereo is long gone thanks to trail dust. Now kickin it with the original AM/FM radio and sound bar.

I had wanted a wrangler as long as I can remember. Litterally since grade school. Parents wouldn't let me get one in HS b/c wasn't practical. Graduated college and was dying for one but just got married so wanted to be responsible and got an XJ to compromise. Let the dream go for several years until the last few years when we (huntin buddies) managed to stick 3 different F250 4X4's, 1 F150 FX4, 2 Chevy 2500's, the farm truck, and a tractor over the last 4 hunting seasons. When I was finally dumb enough to get my brand new F150 stuck and scratched the finish driving through the brush I decided that very moment it would never happen again. So I got my long awaited Wrangler. Of course mangling the front gears was not in the plan. I think our lease might be jinxed.

I always wanted one and also there is always has been a Jeep in my family.
My TJ is my DD and I love it.
I bought mine after a years looking for one @ the right price and finally found it, and my wife got me the ok, Finally I traded in my 2000 Prelude for my TJ.
I planning to keep it for a long long time.
I might buy a car or truck in the future but I will keep this Jeep as long as I can.

When I drop a socket working under the hood, it actually hits the ground.

I had a Wrangler as a daily driver for about 4 years. Recently picked up a tow vehicle for those out of state wheelin trips. I still drive the Jeep to work Nothing compares to a day in a Jeep

My wife made my dream of owning a jeep come true when I wrecked my 2002 Ford ZX2 that my parents had bought for me when I was a senior in high school. We were looking for a vehicle to replace it and were test driving a jeep for fun that was a stick. needless to say she couldn't drive a stick and was not interested until she test drove the only other jeep on the lot, an 06 TJ. she fell in love as it was an auto and she could drive it. since then she has eaten her words about not having to put a car seat in it for a few years. we are expecting our first in May of 08!

I've had 2 Wranglers (1993 and 2000) and am itching for another. There is nothing like no doors and no top in the great So Cal weather. I can drive it that way way most of the year...

Still looking, haven't found the right one yet, but I will. It will probably my DD. If I need to go fast, my other car is a 2007 Charger SRT-8 (maybe I can do an engine swap ) I only commute 7 miles so gas is not really an issue. It will be my fun car and will mod it as much as my budget will allow at any given time.

Can't wait to find one.....

I recently got married and the wifes family did not like my cruiser or my sport quad. I respect there opinion and understand there concern. Therefore I opted to combine the 2 and get a yj. It has been a truly life changing experience I love my jeep and will never be without one again. Now If I can just save up enough money to get my diesel engine to convert her over and run some wvo.
