What pricing might be negotiated with a new Wrangler?

Hello everyone. First visit to this great forum!

We're about to buy a new Wrangler, probably a two-door Sport S. The factory sticker price is about $27,370. We're in the Pacific Northwest - Portland, OR area.

Your thoughts on what price we might expect to be able to get the dealer down to would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, in advance. We can't wait to join you folks as Wrangler owners!

Check "Tread Lightly" in the Land Use Forum here. With a $60 membership, you can buy a Jeep for 1% below invoice, which is a good start. Let us know how you do

2004 Black X 4.0, auto, 3.73's, soft top 31-10.5-15 Toyo A/T's on 8" Ultra 175's, 2" Teraflex BB.

Well I got a whole $750 off sticker.....Test drove..... JEEP salesman was like "ok lets go in and sign"...I said I wanted to go to nearby dealer and check out a Ford Sport Trac.Thinking he would say"Oh no dont do that I'll take another thousand off sticker" Ya know what he did say....."Go and drive that Sport Trac..You will be back to buy this JEEP." He was right.
(I should follow my own advice once in awhile.)

In march I bought a 70th anniversary model 2 door. $2500 less than sticker. It was my first jeep. I felt good with the deal since I searched a 600 mile radius for this particular jeep and found it 350 miles away. Next jeep, I'm going to Illinois with a treadlightly thingy to see pat, period. I need an easy button.

Sticker on my 2011 was 30,025 and I bought it for 28,200 which according to the invoice I had from consumer reports, was $400 under invoice. Good luck!
