What The Heck!!!

....... this is my situation... to day I went to LEATH Dealership in Anchorage, Alaska and they told me that I cant order the jeep JK07 Rubi the way I want it.... they told me that jeep's are made on an assembly line… and thay are not going to make a jeep the way i want it and that I have now chance of getting a Rubi with a hardtop, MyGIG, and that’s it.. I don’t want power windows, lock. All I whant is Just a plan jeep Rubi, but with the above stated stuff. Is this true? Some how i dont think is true... IMO the dealership is a lazy POS!!!

If you go to Jeep.com and it will show you what options are standard (can't be deleted) and what are optional to determine what you want on your Jeep.

In your other thread jeeptales responded, you can also talk to him.

this is the first thread i have talked about a dealership. and i have been to jeep's website. i can get a 4 door rubi with out the power group.. and as for the top... i can get the dual top group.. so that tells me that the dealership is being a lazy POS...

Your introduction thread is what I was referring to. jeeptales responded. He is a dealer so that's why I mentioned it.

I can't get any Jeeps with MyGig until the 2008's come out. All my hard top orders are just sitting there not being built. The dealership may just be saving you from ordering something that won't be built and wasting your time. As for power windows and such, they are standard on Rubi and can't be removed.

I thought on the Rubicon the power windows and locks were
standard?? And if they are...isn't there some way you should
be able to disengage them?? As hard as it is to find a JK Rubi
if I was in the market for one,I probably would just get the
power windows and pray I don't end up with any problems,
like leaky freedom top, computer acting funny, security sytem
on it's own program and the Wrangler stalling on the highway.

Remember this is a first year of a new model, they are going to have some bugs in them.If you go to JKboard.com,go to the dirty laundry threads. They are folks who have been having some issues with the freedom top leaking (which is why there is a hold on that),TSB or computer glitch, doors not closing properly, security systems acting on their own.

You have to wonder if you order a vehicle sight unseen, you haven't test driven it,it's a first year of a new model...made in a
new factory....... that's gonna cost almost $30,000 (Rubicon/Sahara fully loaded)...the last thing ya might wanna here is..."It's A Jeep Thing"
