What the heck Town Fair Tire!!

So their website says that they guarentee the lowest price, they beat the internet...blah blah blah.

I went yesterday to one to see what they could do for five 33"x12.5" Baja MTZs and five Crager Soft 8 15x8" wheels.

Summit racing online is $1,259 before shipping. Town Fair just called and said lowest price is $1,599 BEFORE tax! What the hell.....

I want my tires/rims for a FAIR price.

I could just order online and find someplace that will mount and balance and do an alignment, but I wanted it to be easier than that.

to be honest with you, Ive gone to TFT in Stamford quite a few times and they were no help at all. As for the alignment, do you have a new lift and didnt have it aligned yet? are you just going to do the alignment because of new tires? I would try to find a better place for an alignment then there. Im not trying to knock business away from people, but TFT is a chain store like Jiffy Lube and I like giving the small "mom and pop" stores business where they treat you like a person rather then some idiot who goes for an oil change and walks out with a 1300 dollar bill for extras because they work off of commission.

Yeah, I am getting a lift, SYE, and driveshaft installed at SVE Performance in Milford. Just waiting for him to order the parts. Then I figured I will bring the tires or put them on and go and get an alignment done. I am open to go some place other than TFT too. That is just the first place I think about when I am looking for an alignment.
