What to do...Poor Fitting Coverking "Custom" Seat Covers

Ordered a set of "custom" Coverking "Spacer Mesh" Seat Covers. Arrived yesterday after 3 weeks of waiting (while they make the covers "custom" for your seat).

Good news first - the tops fit fine and look good.

Bad news - the bottoms fit HORRIBLE:

Maybe I'm off base, but this doesn't fit (pun intended) my definition of "custom". Or are my expectations too high?

I have neoprene Coverkings on the rear seat, which fit perfectly.

Suggestions? Thoughts? Know of anyone at Coverking that I should contact?

I bought them through eBay, and I already contacted the Seller (an official Coverking rep). I can return them if I pay shipping and a 20% restock fee which would cost me about $35 on a $125 order.
If I get eBay involved, I might be able to get a full refund.

Well, first your ebay seller is charging 5% higher for a restock fee than Coverking advertises on their website. 5% probably doesn't make a big difference, but it makes me see that your seller is shady.

I would call Coverking themselves and discuss it with them.

Why would you even have to pay a restocking fee? The freakin covers don't fit!!!
A restocking fee is if you order something and than change your mind and don't want it anymore. Then they can charge you a restocking fee. A fee for faulty merchandise is bullcrap.

It's the policy of Cover King for returning any custom order. But, that's why I suggested talking to the company directly and figuring out if there is an issue with the fit and what the options are.

I've got those exact same covers...same color, in spacer mesh...and they fit the seats on my '12 great.

My initial thought was that those were knockoffs, but since you've talked to somebody at the company, that must not be the case. Hmm. I'd return em, pronto. That looks terrible.

Thanks for all the comments. The reseller contacted Coverking, so I'm waiting on their reply. They are definitely Coverking products - not knockoffs. I will update after I hear back.

LOL ... no offense to you, but those covers are HILARIOUS.

Those covers DO NOT FIT. Plain and simple. If they were advertised to fit your vehicle, then you have been sold an inappropriate or wrong item. If they won't refund the entire amount (including shipping them back!) then I'd definitely get eBay involved. I would demand that the seller issue a UPS Call Tag to have them picked up at their expense and that a full refund be issued. And also NEGATIVE FEEDBACK would be a very good idea. It's an eBay member's obligation to leave such feedback to protect the community.

If the merchandise is wrong or faulty there should be no restocking fee. They screwed up, not the customer.

Good Resolution: They are being returned to Coverking for a full refund. And they paid return shipping. It took a while to sort out, but I'm please at this point. (I'll be happier once I actually get the money back, of course)

I bought seat covers for the front of mine...The top/back covers don't even come close to fitting. I can't get it to stretch around my seat. I guess I'll eat this one, but everyone should stick with Wet Okole. They are worth the price
