What tunes do you blast on the trails?

Just curious what everyones favorite music is playing when shredding trails. I prefer something with a more agressive feel, but to each his own.

#1 August Burns Red - Your Little Suburbia is in Ruins

this will be a good place to find new kick ass music.

Depends on the trail if it's a laid back scenic trail I like country even though I'm not that big into country if it's anything rugged I normally have my music off. I try to pay close attention to whats going on

Laid back trails, you cant beat reggae but if its mud, you gotta stick to metal.

The gasps and girly screams screams of my passengers is all the music I need. Typically the only lyrics are OH @#$%, let me out Mother $%^*^&, are you nuts, and OMFG.

Shredding trails is the reason so many get closed down... As as for music...if you are on a real trail then the radio is off and you are listening to your jeep and the terrain.....They both are constantly talking to you and music just gets in the way of the conversation....

I like playing Low Rider by War.

The irony is usually lost on a few people while on the trail.

We have some of our best communication happen, while hiking and while jeepin .. If, very rarely, we listen to traditional jazz standards, along with modern jazz artists, mixed in with all kinds of rock n roll, from the Beatles, to Zevon. Heavy metal? As Bill Shatner would say,, " I can't get behind that ". Also enjoy the parody of Ben Folds, and Shatner doing "rockin' the Suburbs".

If I have someone with me we talk & ride.

If I'm alone, I often play Santana's "Guitar Heaven" album. His version of all the classic guitar hits we all know & love... GREAT off road soundtrack!

for me its pretty much rock/metal..but i have to agree that on more difficult terrain im listening to the rig instead of the stereo.

If I am just trail riding I listen to music of many types. Can't really just name one song.

If I am doing something difficult or with friends in my jeep, I will have the radio off or down low.

If you can't drive down a dirt road with your radio on, maybe you need to brush up on your driving skills

I don't listen to music in my Jeep (I've turned on the radio for myself probably twice in the three months I've had it just to see what the system was like), but if I was jamming, I'd probably listen to Sacudiendo a Yaca by Axé Bahia.

This made me laugh soooo hard! My hubby learned pretty quick that I'm most happy in the DRIVER'S seat.
