What type of wheel...

What type of wheels stand up better to elements and continue to look good?

I'd say a strong aluminum alloy wheel would give the best looks and hold up the best to abuse and the elements

If its aluminum, make sure it has a clear coat, if not your gonna spend a lot of time polishing them to keep them from pitting.

Are you looking for a polished or black wheel?
I think AR makes a Teflon black coated wheel, at least they used too.

Im not a huge fan of the black wheels but I think it might look good on my white jeep.

Anyone know how they hold up?

If I get em I'll probably go with them in black with a polished ring

JcWhitney has some made out of Kryptonite that are supposed to be pretty tough. Scout probably has a set of them lying around some where.

For all of the hell I've put my aluminum rims under they still do have a good shine to them. Most steel wheels just don't hold up well to the elements.
