What would you buy if......

If you were buying a jeep, what would you buy (must exclude your current model)?

I would get one of the new 4 doors. I love the abilities of the YJ and TJ to get through some really tight spots but we have kids and there's just not enough room.

I'd buy a BRUTE from AEV with the Hemi conversion.

I'd have to say I'd hook up a 2Dr. JK Rubicon also. It's going to be a helluva platform to build on.

So Affende, what do you think is wrong with the new JK axles? And are you talking the D30 which has been greatly upgraded or the HP44 which is by far superior to any axle Jeep has ever put in a Wrangler?

My wife is on me for the same reason. I would get the 4 door Sahara or Rubi with a 3" lift and 35s. I would have the hard top for winter. I would have to get safari doors for summer because I don't really like the way it looks topless with 4 full doors.

I've been waiting 20 years for my sister to sell me her CJ7. I gave up 5 years ago and bought my TJ. If she ever sells, I'll be first in line.

if you watch extreme 4x4 on spike, you'd know that the jk's have speed sensors on each wheel. you must reuse the factory spindle because noone makes an aftermarket one that works with it. without it, the jeep goes into "fail safe mode" as they called it and wont go anywhere.

All im getting to, is that with the new jk's you must know what your doing as they have much more technology in them. i also read that the side airbags are built into the seats. so those of you going off to moab with the new jk, do your research.
