Question whats a good jack.

i have a yj with a 2in body lift and 32in tires.

spring break is coming up and i was planning on going on a road trip to the beach with some friends.

i just got new tires so im pretty sure that i wont have any problems with them, but i like to always be prepared. every since last year when i had 2 blow outs on my camaro back to back on a trip.

i REALLY HATE those scissor jacks, i was thinking about just getting a bottle jack. im pretty sure i dont need one of those hi-lift jacks.

what do you guys recommend, what is a good jack?

your jeep should come with a bottle jack. Maybe it's just tj's? If so maybe you can find a Tj bottle jack for cheap from a junkyard or someone that has lifted there jeep to high to use the stock jack.

TJ's (And most cars) come with scissor jacks. Bottle jacks can be bought at Harbor Freight or other tool stores for fairly cheap.

Not that I'm aware of, but is Sears sells a Craftsman one, I'd get one of those.

Just be sure its a 3ton or better jack. Should be able to find them for around $20-$40.

Mine came with a scissor jack... maybe it depends on where it was sold. I donno. That's new to me. Every car I've bought has come with a scissor jack.

Get a Hi-Lift jack. No more jack problems.
