Wheelin in Colorado

Just thought Id share. Went to Colorado this last week to get my feet wet with four wheeling in my jeep. Spent the week in the Estes Park area. Even though i did the easier ones, I had a blast. My jeep isn't set up to do the harder or extreme ones, plus I'm kinda new at it. Tried to hit as many as I could. I cant wait to take my sons and they're jeeps up there. I understand that the local jeep club maintains those trails. Big thanks to them. Didn't do any camping, statewide burn ban. Hats off to the firefighters.

Sorry, wasn't thinking straight. As far as the fires, no I didn't actually see them. However I did get a shot of the smoke from Estes Park. First we did the Old Fall River rd. Not much of a trail, scenery was beautiful. Had the doors off, the ride down was a little chilly. Next day we did the Rock Creek at Allens Park. I liked that one. Very "rocky". Barely moving we were getting bounced around. Next we did the Pierson Park. At first, because of time, we came in from Estes and just did the E loop. Stopped in at the lodge up there for a visit. The guy I was with, his cousin works pt there. Nice place. Then the next day we did the whole thing starting at the other end. The pic i posted earlier is from that. Pierson Pk is more what I was after. I really think it was a great experience for me. I know now what to expect. I wanted to go try johnny Pk rd, but time ran out and a medical emergency on my buddys side dictated we go home. I love Colorado. I want to move back so bad. Didn't get too many pics as I was driving and didn't know what to expect. Next time though I'll take a lot more. I have more on my phone, if i can figure out hoe to download from it I would. The first one is from Estes looking at the smoke from the fires. The others are from Pierson Pk.

Ok the sideways one, I'm not computer savvy, so I guess you'll just have to tilt your head.
