You dont just go to the local parts house say I need a tie rod end for my blankity blankin jeep. Go home install. As for alignment I do it by counting the thread turns. But it looks like it may be a bit late for that. So I would use a tape measure to get it close. Make sure there no other worn steering parts. Then go get it aligned cause tire are very expensive.
