Which is the best, and what about the rest?

As I am sure everyone on here has a different opinion on which the best Year for a Wrangler, I thought it would be interesting(and helpful) if we got a general discussion about the best and worst years for the our beloved Wranglers.
Please post your thoughts and would love to hear personal experiences as well!

Happy Jeeping!

Most will believe the year that they have is the best.

Just human nature.

Well, I know I like my 91 better than the 87 I had.lol. Better engine, better tranny and the heater actually works...

I have mine to beat on and play with. I smoke in it, take my dogs wheeling with me, the drain plugs actually get used for their intended purpose and when I pressure wash it, its generally inside and out.

I wish I could have a jeep for a daily driver but they just dont have the towing capacity or cargo room that I need to make money. I couldnt talk my wife into a Wrangler, so she has a hemi grand cherokee... I would like to have a TJ someday but thats about as new as I would go. I dont like rigs that do too much thinking for themselves. My wifes cherokee drives me crazy with the self adjusting wipers, beeping when the spare tire is low and all the other "newer vehicle quirks"...
