which winch do I have?

I just bought an 89 and it has a Warn winch on it. I'm curious about it but I don't know which one it is. Is there a place on them with numbers to identify it?

You could a) post a pic of it so someone could tell you what it is, or b) look online at the Warn winches and see which one looks like it. You could also call Warn and say you want to know which you have, and they'll tell you where to look for a number that they can use to identify it. Warn has excellent customer service, so that may be your best route.

Hmm. Don't recognize the clutch lever. Looks like a Harbor Freight with a Warn sticker on it. I could be very wrong though. It happens.

HaHa...I wouldn't doubt it. Even if it's not a Warn it seems to work just fine

I went and took a pic of the Harbor Freight winch on my car trailer for you. Looks like a match.
