Maybe white is a girls' color...because my two girls love it.
My wife and daughter looked at every jeep they could find for a couple of months before I bought my 2013 JKR and decided that their favorite color was white. It doesn't bother me that they like my Jeep.
I had a green jeep - but unlike that manly man, I didn't buy it. It was on loan to me, while I was Forward Observer in the 101st ABN. I think he loses that one.
My last two wranglers were blue and I was looking for a change...and white has always been on my short list for several reasons:
It is very easy to keep clean on-road
It hides scratches picked up off-road
It is great in hot climates
I personally think that it looks great when it is built-up.
I have seen a number of white rescue jeeps over the years - surf rescue, mountain rescue, etc...and the contrast between the clean white and a set of 35s with built-up off-road components always looked awesome to me. Plus, it gets hotter than hell where I live in the summer.
True story - a firefighter in my department bought the smaller Harley Sportster several years ago. It was all flat black with some orange trim...and it looked great. He was really happy with it...especially since the price was right. For the next two weeks, other firefighters kept telling him that he bought the "girl's Harley"...including guys who had never owned a bike in their life. Within a month, he traded it for a Fat Boy. In my opinion, the least manly thing that he did was trade that bike.
I heard this alot. I almost bought a white 2012 with color hardtop. I dont like alot of the bright colors and white/color matched is a good call in Vegas heat. I didnt get it for my own reasons, but I did hear the "chick Jeep" thing too.
Blame Barbie and Daisy Duke.
I think they're pretty Bad A$$ myself. Enjoy it. If chicks like it too, then you wont have any problem finding a passenger, lol.
I really like the white and kinda wish I had gotten one. But when I was looking at and driving a white one I saw a red one on the road and loved it. But when I drove the red one I saw a black one and loved it....
Can you see that it was just really a hard decision for me?
I do know this...I know that if I gotten white...I would wonder about having the red or even black....
In the end red was the first gut feeling I had and I stuck with it. To me most, if not all look good. If I had the money...I would have one of each...
I would drive the red at Christmas time along with the white in the snow of our mountains. Black to formal outings and dates....Orange around Halloween and fall...Gecko in the spring or whenever I was in a feisty mood...and so on!
This is my first Jeep...and I really am catching the fever!
Great forum here!
I have White and love it....then again my wife fries it most of the time and very rarely allows me behind the wheel
Damn you autocorrect!! Assume you mean "drives" I like the white myself. The only reason I have Steel Blue is because I saw it ont he lot driving by and liked it. Had I seen a white one and liked it, I would have bought it instead.

I must have a low iq because I've always thought white vehicles were feminine. I know I would never own one. In fact I had an amazing deal on a Mojave and passed on it because it was white. Different strokes I suppose. If you like it then that's all that really matters.
