48 and this is my 9th jeep first one back in 1984....never too old or too young as I use to take my son who was still in a car seat out 4 wheeling and now he is 28 and owns his second jeep!

I'm 18 and most of the people 40+ around here with jeeps would blow mine out of the water. Never to old for a jeep.

40 when I bought my first one, a 2001. Now have my 2005. Looking at buying a four door model when it comes time for the wife and I to buy another car. Considering how much they hold their resale value, I can't imagine being very young and being able to afford one, unless it was a rust bucket or the motor was shot.

Crrrriiiiiiippppps-40???? I have 3 that actually have plates and run (55, 68, & 2012) and quite a few more as static "yard" art. I learned to drive in a 2A when my legs got long enough to reach the pedals at about 11 years old and that was 57 years ago. Have owned both the 55 CJ3B and the 68 CJ5 for better than 40 years. The 68 is titled as a 69 and that was when I bought it.

That the 2012 JKUR is actually a Jeep only becomes readily apparent when you get it off road. It IS the daily driver.

I'm 50 and have a 04 TJ. I can't imagine not having one. My oldest son has a 99 TJ and my youngest has a 98 XJ. They have been trained properly.

I'm 52, and I got my first Wrangler 3 weeks ago. I guess I'll return it since I'm too old.

Now that I'm 55 I can afford to do what I want so if someone were to tell me I'm too old, I'd just laugh and opine, "Jealous?"

Wife and I bought our first jeep just a few months ago. We're both 48. Should have bought one of these 20 years ago but I guess I've got a lot of catching up to do instead.

Really? 40 is too old?!

I had been at least 29 for a long, long time before I got my Jeep. And it is the best toy I've ever had.

No chance is 40 too old! I just bought my first one last year at 43. My dad bought his 06 LJ a couple of years ago at 64. Love 4-wheeling with my dad and his friends. Heck, most of the guys in his jeep club are older than me at 44....
