My Liberty had a simple, black "Jeep Liberty" cover on it.

My Wrangler is bare.

I like the look of my stock Sahara wheels in black.

However, I just rotated my tires, and the one spare looks pretty dirty and has scuffed up sidewalls (only 5900 miles on it and I'm too lazy to clean it).....so I might go with a painted semi-hard cover.

This one (in Billet) is $180 on Amazon...but I have to make sure that the bottom of the cover does not block the view the camera.

I wear one on my 31 inch cause I can't afford a nice spare with matching wheels. Besides, I got one with my school logo in it!

Nope, told the dealer to not put one on. And if they did I would remove it and drop it in the parking lot.

Got a plain black one, since my spare doesn't match the other 4. It came with a dealer cover, but like others, they ain't paying me to advertise, so I changed it.

Had a plain one on my TJ when I first got it, but a stray cat kept climbing on it and shredded it. Never replaced it since the spares matched. Don't have one on the JK.

For you guys running covers to hide the fact that you have a mismatched/undersized spare, why run it at all? If it's the wrong size it's basically unusable therefore you are carrying around dead weight. I would delete the spare tire holder before buying a cover to hide it.

I just bought new wheels/tires and one of my requirements was buying 5 of each. It was painful to buy something that isn't getting used, but now I can do a 5 tire rotation and get more life out of the tires, and it looks better on the back of the Jeep since they all match.

I bought 5, for the 5 tire rotation, they say you'll get 10% longer use out of the tires that way, I still have a cover on it because I like the cover I have.

And also if you end up selling the tires, having 5 with equal tread seems better than 4 worn ones and one brand new spare, to me at least.

I have a plain black cover; picked it up on Amazon for around $20. Although I like the way it looks, having one wasn't my original plan...

I bought a new set (4) of wheels/ tires a few months ago and had planned to buy the 5th with the $260 in rebates that DT was offering at the time. Then my wife got ahold of the rebate $$$

I'll pick up the 5th sooner or later. For now, though, I just covered up the old spare so I don't have to look at it. As far as actually USING it, that shouldn't be a problem; it's only about a half-inch different in diameter than the new ones.

Don't like them. They hold moisture.

In reality why I have a tire cover is because I bought the Jeep last April took the stock rims to scrap yard got some cash for new rims spare was flat got the rim ground so now holds air didn't really want to put out extra cash for a fifth rim an tire that most likely I won't use so covered up the crappy spare with the cover looks good enough for me

I have never ran a cover after replacing the stock tires with my first set of larger tires years ago.

However, I did find a use for my stock cover that came with the Jeep.

I bought a black one online, but its that shiny black, not the matte black like my top... so, I'm not using it now.... will eventually buy one to match my top. I've got a wheel lock key on my spare... so, I feel protected; but, when I get new rims, I'll definitely get a new spare cover rather than 5 new rims...
