This is a creepy thing we found in the desert near the town of Bahara. We found a dead sheep in a difficult to reach area. We though it was lost and died of thirst or maybe a dog attack, as this happens normally. Then we noticed its back legs were tied. Someone must have brought it here like that by 4x4, or herded it here and tied it.

I though there must be some explanation, maybe it was diseased, but we were nervous because we knew that one method of meeting with a jinn (demon) is said to be torturing an animal to death in the jinn's name. They say the longer the better, and if there is hypnotic music it helps. Only God knows if that's true.

But then we found another one, from another time, but just 20 meters away:

Its back legs were tied and it was strangled with barbed wire, not even normal wire. It wasn't slaughtered by a sharp knife which is the correct and painless way. Even if the animal was sick, this was a really cruel way to kill it.

If this was a demon sacrifice, I don't know if the person got what they wanted in this world, but I think they will get what they deserve in the next world for treating one of the creatures who benefits us so much like this.

Back in 81 right before I graduated HS a couple of my buddies and I went to an abandoned oil field location the we hung out at quite a bit. We would throw the football around and just hang out. We always parked in the same spot. It was a small hill and we always parked facing down, you could put your ride in neutral and roll up against a small rise to a stop. We had been there for a couple of hours after dark and were having some beers. we are in a 69 Mustang 4 speed in neutral with both doors open when the rear of the car lifts approx 6" up and then starts being pulled up the hill backwards. No noise just moved us uphill about 2 feet. I looked at my buddy who was driving and saw his feet were no where near the pedals. it took us about 2 seconds to slam the doors and get going, as he throttled the car we had no traction, the car dropped and we hauled ass. I have no idea what it was we went back the next day and found nothing.

Also me and a few of my friends went to this old run down mental hospital called Bryce in Tuscaloosa. We would go and sit in surgical rooms and we would hear strange noises coming down the halls. The weirdest thing that happened was when we went to the 2nd floor all the doors on the hallway swung open and closed at the same time. We ran out of there and havent been back since.
I live in Tuscaloosa! In the Hillcrest area! And haven't been to Bryce but a lot of people do on Halloween and where is that road??

I read all of these this past weekend because i couldn't sleep, it didn't help the cause very much! To make matters worse, i went hunting the next morning. You gotta love walking thru the woods in the dark trying to be quiet and thinking about all these stories lol. Needless to say i was happy to get my climber about 30 feet up the tree!

That's one of the legends...that a young bride was lost there and died while looking for her husband who didn't come home after chores one night. Only this guy with me didn't know the story until I told him--after he'd seen the girl with the lantern.
years ago i was very interested in the spooklight, i put together all the information i could find in one large chunk:

oh, i do actually have one creepy trail story.

the wife & i were up in the rockies somewhere in 2007, not sure what lake this is but i thought it was pretty so i stopped to take a picture out the passenger side window. neither one of us so much as opened a door let alone got out of the car.

right after i took that picture i noticed two child sized snow boots sitting on the rocks, very odd since we hadnt seen a soul in days & there were no people around that we could see anywhere.

while we were discussing how odd it was to encounter such a thing high up in the mountains this happened:

one of the boots blew over. now, keep in mind that it was FREEZING outside, getting dark & there is a light fog creeping around the air. not something you'd want to be outdoors in. now couple that with the fact that we hadn't seen anyone on the trial on the way up, and never saw anyone much further up the trail after we left, AND the fact that the wind just up & blew the shoe over while we were watching it & one is left with the strong suggestion in mind that those shoes couldnt have been there very long. like.. minutes duration.. given that the wind was pretty strong in that area coming up and over the lake those shoes would have both blown over pretty quick.

there had to have been a child in that area likely within 10 minutes or so of us passing through, but no sign of anyone as far as the eye could see other than those little kiddie boots.

we got pretty creeped out.

Not a creepy story but a funny one. Back in the day I was stationed in FT Hood Texas. I was a light vehicle driver 1/4 ton up to 5 ton. My Sarge told me to take a deuce and a half over to an Infantry company and pick up a detail of about 10 guys and take them out to an artillery range to pick up debris. The range was littered with a lot of 55 gal drums. One of the guys picked up a drum that was blown in half, as he picked it up over his head to toss in the truck a Rattle Snake came half way out of the drum and dangled right in front of the dudes face. The dude must of shit his pants, the look on his face was priceless. He didn't get bit or anything which was cool.
Anyway, a good old boy from Texas grabbed a fire axe on the side of the truck and proceeded to corral the snake, chopped its head off and skinned it. Said the skin would make a good hat band.

Got my cj5 stuck on the side of a nasty hill above tree line and had to walk home with my pissed off xgf and buddy, we got picked up by a nice girl who ended up being in the adult film bizz. It worked out well for my buddy. He forgave me. You never know who you will run into on the trail.

When I and my wife were quite a bit younger, we decided that we would spend the bicentennial outdoors. Yes, July of '76......we're old. We lived in Pueblo at the time, and decided to go hiking, fishing and camp along Lime Creek between Durango and Silverton. There wasn't anything other than brookies in the creek, but they were plentiful and fun to catch.

We left our car by the side of the road along Old Lime Creek Road about 5 miles in from the highway and packed in upstream along the creek with our shepherd, Rebel. It only took us about an hour to get to where we wanted to camp, a nice meadow beside the creek just before a slot canyon that required you to swim to get any further upstream. Either that or take a several mile detour.

We camped uneventfully that night, the third of July, enjoying the sounds of the rippling creek and nature all around us. It was such a nice night that we just slept out under the stars, didn't bother to pitch our little backpacking tent. A little cool, but we had the fire going and our lightweight 30 degree bags, so we were very comfortable.

The next day we had breakfast, packed up and we all swam our way up the creek to the next wide spot with a bit of bank in the canyon, only about 150 yards or so. Now Rebel was never one to turn down a chance to get wet, but we had to do quite a bit of coaxing to get him to follow us up the creek. We fished and splashed upstream a bit, and before we knew it it was lunchtime. We thought we'd fry up some of those brookies but we were in this slot canyon that terminated in a fairly deep pool with about a ten foot rocky waterfall at the end of it.

We decided that I would scale the waterfall and pull the dog and the packs up and then I'd help Maggie get up. It was fairly difficult, even with the help of an old cable left over from a mining operation that was hanging down the side wall of the canyon. It took a LOT of effort and though we finally made it, we looked back down that waterfall and wondered what the heck we were thinking. Rebel was none too happy about it either, and seemed to get more irritable by the minute. We found enough driftwood at the rocky top of the falls to get a fire started and get the fish fried up, but that was about it.

You know the uneasy feeling that several others have mentioned? It was like a switch turned on and we all of a sudden became aware of our surroundings. It grew like a cancer and I actually watched the hair on the back of Rebel's neck stand up. Maggie felt it too and we both noticed that it was getting dark FAST down in this canyon. First thought in my head was a cat, and I actually felt a bit better about that because I figured the cat would leave us be, between the fire and the dog. I told Maggie what I thought and she seemed to feel a bit better, too.

I did not want to get caught in the dark in the canyon, for a bunch of reasons, flash floods etc. I spied what looked like a mine shaft about 2 hundred feet above us, a heck of a steep climb, but it looked like our best bet. We pulled out our flashlights and by the time we reached it it was PITCH black. The dog was a mess by this point, whipping around in circles, whining, yelping and generally being a real pain in the ass. Maggie and I were drenched with sweat and immediately began to freeze. July in the mountains is a weird thing, I have seen blizzard conditions before, but this was like someone turned on the deep freeze.

We were at what looked like the start of a mine, it only went back about ten feet, but there was evidence of fires at the mouth, and they curiously looked fresh. I was too tired to think more about it, I knew we had to get out of our wet clothes, pitch the tent, and climb in our bags before we got serious hypothermia. That was NO fun, let me tell you, having to do all of that by the light of our rapidly dying flashlight. And there was NO firewood anywhere close.

I cursed myself several times for letting things get this far out of control. We finally got the tent pitched right there in the back of this little cave , buck naked as we had no dry clothes left. The sleeping bags were slightly damp too, even though we had stuffed them in plastic garbage bags before our swimming expedition up the canyon. WE FROZE!! It was miserable.

About 1 in the morning I called Rebel into the tent for a little heat. The dog seemed to have calmed down greatly, and with the added heat we drifted off. Sometime during the night I heard something that just about woke me, I was still in a haze, so I fell asleep again immediately. I woke up one other time, because I thought I heard Rebel yip a little bit, but again I was in and out. I put my hand out to pet his head and he licked my hand. I fell asleep again. Maggie later said she fell asleep the same time as I did but never woke up at all during the night.

I woke to the most horrible noise I have ever heard come out of a hundred pound woman. Just the most God-awful shrieks that I have ever heard. I never want to hear that again.

I opened my eyes just in time to see a man at the mouth of the shaft, silhouetted against the morning daylight, looking back at us with the most twisted evil grin I have ever seen on the face of another human. I scrambled to get free of my tightly zipped bag and the little tent while he just crouched there and grinned. When I was just about free, he disappeared. Now, we were granola crunchin' tree huggin' anti-gun nature freaks at the time, so the only thing I had of any consequence as a weapon was my camp knife. I found it after what seemed like hours of searching, but really was probably under a minute. I very cautiously made my way to the entrance, millimeters at a time. The guy was gone.

About that time Maggie started screaming and whimpering again so I rushed back to the back of the shaft. She had struggled out of the tent and was pointing at what used to be Rebel. His head was nearly severed, and the tent and the bags were ruined with the blood all over everything. She had blood all over her, so the first thing I did was make sure she was not injured. Then I checked myself. We were ok,it was all Rebel's blood.

We put on our still damp cold clothes from the night before and then we noticed that our boots were gone. We were in trouble. I had some paracord, so we tied some shirts and towels around our feet and climbed back down towards the creek. We left everything in the mine, except for the knife and some stuff that we shoved in our pockets. It took us 8 hours to get back down to the car, and we were like hamburger. Hands, feet, arms and legs scraped raw, bruised and bleeding. We jumped in, the car started right up thankfully and we left a dust cloud that blanketed the valley as we sped down the rough trail toward Durango.

We limped into the Sheriff's office and we looked like hell. We got our story out, my wife through tears and me talking waaay too fast. but finally got it all out. The deputy said that they would go out first thing in the morning and asked us to stay in town. We had no money for a hotel, so he let us stay in a cell after we showered and changed into prison jumpsuits.

We were there at the jail waiting when the "expedition" returned with the convoy of three trucks. I noticed that all the officers, who were quite wet and filthy, gave us dirty looks as they passed us, and the Deputy that we had talked to the day before herded us back to his office. Then came the interrogation. Turns out that some animal had spread the dog's remains all down the slide to the creek, and he said that there was nothing else there. No tent, no backpacks, nothing. He asked us if we had any drugs. I did not want to admit to him that we had some herb, so I denied it.

It was clear that we were fighting a losing battle. They had come to the conclusion that we were wandering out in the woods high on LSD while a mountain lion had gotten our dog. The bastard even made us change back into our filthy clothes and give back the jumpsuits right then. He told us that he had better never see us again. We left. Maggie was sobbing. I never have been back to Durango.

The thing that I still have nightmares about years later, and I have never mentioned this to Maggie, is....... the second time I woke up when I heard Rebel yelp, was that when his throat was cut?.......and if it was, was it the dog who licked my hand before I fell back asleep?

I still go out in the wilderness, never overnight, out well before dark, only with other people, and always with a big gun. I respect animals, but I fear people.

All I can say is wow. I go camping to secluded mountain/desolate spots with buddies but also with just my girlfriend and dog.And since i just got my jeep have been really looking forward to camping season this year. I always try to be prepared for the worst so needless to say i am well armed and usually really alert. This story will be in that back of my head everytime i camp this spring/summer.

I don't anything truly freaky but I was at work reading meters a few months ago and had an odd thing happen. I ride a Segway while I'm reading meters and had been reading for several hours that morning. Then at one point I kinda zoned out and had no idea of my surroundings. When I came back to I was several blocks away from where I had been when I zoned out. I check the handheld and it had only been 31 seconds since I had read my last meter. I had no idea where I was and didn't recognize that part of the neighborhood at all, it wasn't part of my route. I checked my maps on my phone and took a couple roads back to where I had been. Now the weirdest part is it took me just over 3 minutes to cover the same amount of ground I covered in just 31 seconds. I still haven't figured out what happened or how I got so far so fast.

Haha maybe I'll make the news so I can talk about my alien abduction! lol

But seriously I wish the segway would go as fast as it would have had to to go that far all the time. I could really read some meters then. haha

I drove back over to that neighborhood after I got off work and looked around for an alley or an easment that I didn't know about that might have allowed me to get there but there was nothing. I would have had to have lifted the segway over dozens of privacy fences. It weighs slightly more than I do so that's totally out of the question.

well if we are going to be honest, lets hang it all out. Since I was born I have been cursed or blessed with a certain gift. I at times truly hate it, and at others enjoy it.

When I was first born my parents were quite concerned that I was autistic, and the doctors believed that something was not quite right in my head. The reason is that as a baby I would rarely make eye contact with people. Bells, whistles, baby rattles could not get my attention. I stared into corners and hallways, closets and generally outside settings, my parents where mortified as I was acting as either I was blind, or deaf, or handicapped. Doctors performed tests and verified that I do have hearing, and I do have sight, but something wasn’t putting it all together at the time. They ran brain scans and realized that my mind was acting as if I was in slow wave, or generally what is considered as the deepest sleep the mind can reach. But this brain wave was ALWAYS slow wave, I didnt kick off of it. I was conscious but slow wave, which couldn’t be answered by the pros. As I grew, i started interacting more with the parents and others but would have these sessions of zoning out, staring at nothing, interacting with nothing (phantom grasping and smiles they called it). What really got everyone kicked started is I started walking at 10 months and I started talking at 11, these were things my parents were told may not happen on time, I crawled very little and was always sitting up or laying on my back, I hated being on my stomach. The doctors couldnt understand why I had such a full vocabulary for a 11 month old, I understood and could say her, him, mom, dad, mine, yours, heres the kicker...the word welcome, and phrases how are you, and you are loved. I also didnt parrot like a new baby with speech. I didn’t repeat words or show redundancy, I showed distinction in what I was trying to say and my parents couldn’t understand where I would come up with specific phrase "you are loved". When I was 3 my parents took a trip with my dads family to see Gettysberg, as we got out of the cars and stood where Lincoln gave the address, I started crying uncontrollably, my parents were concerned that something was wrong and I was seriously injured, my father started poking around and asking what was wrong and I replied "booboo’s are dead, mommies sad",(my mother called me booboo instead of son) followed by, "too loud, hurts me". Luckily my dad is fast on the reflex as my mother decided to pass the "eff out" . Needless to say our Gettysburg experience was over. My parents never told my father's relatives what truly happened, they chocked it up to the humidity and my mother simply not staying hydrated.

When I hit 4, I started having imaginary friends, my mother thought i was finally settling in and her worries of what was wrong with her baby boy were over, I am an only child, and I grew up on a 500 acre farm. I shouldnt have been able to have "names" for my friends like I did. my 3 friends where Jack, Bartholomew, and Levi. My parents were kinda proud that my friends had such awesome names, but when i started to project that these were real friends and not fakes, my parents became again, concerned. My preshool teacher told my parents that I was a very courteous young boy and that I had a very easy way of identifying feels of others and making sure everyone was happy, but at recess and lunch time I would not play with other kids, i always said no thank you when asked to play and would sit at a table and stare in a direction. My mom freaked thinking of me as a baby, and so I was off to see a psychologist

The psychologist was not a nice person. But my 3 friends told me to tell the truth and accept who I am (i will always remember this specifically, i heard and saw them tell me this). The therapist asked about the 3 and asked to describe them. I described jack, in a white navy uniform when provided with pictures i picked the white uniform associated with dinner dress, i then proceeded to tell the therapist about various metals that Jack wore and ribbons.
Bartholomew was a farmer, he was "grampa" old was my description, red flannel, blue overalls, wedding band, and a wedding ring around his neck on a gold chain. He liked john deere tractors (like me). his favorite room in our house was the parlor and he would sing me to sleep with a song about willow trees, thickets and one line specifically "honey the sun will always be here tomorrow".

Levi was 6, he was always wet, but we played tic-tac-to and he was a wicked at rock paper scissors I told the therapist. I also told the therapist that he was always the one to remind me to wear a jacket and always told me he'd tell if I didnt.

The psych told my parents their son had lost it, and that I was manifesting through my imaginary friends, there was an intervention and basically i went catatonic I do not remember the intervention with the psychologist but I do remember still everything about my friends.

My dad and mom are religious folk, as am I now, and so my dad sat down and wanted me to tell him about my friends, specifically Jack, I told my dad where Jack was born, and the date, and thats when things got interesting. My dad asked if Jack had any other name and I said I wasnt sure but that was what he called himself, I said Jack liked my middle name. My father started to get very interested and phone his mother, I then described to my father with my grandmother on the phone, the exact description of my grandfather, as he was buried in 1972, down to the hair cut and the cuff links my grandmother bought him on their honeymoon in SLO. My grandfather’s REAL first name was my middle name, only family and friends called him Jack. My dad wanted to try and make sure I wasnt fishing and just making random correct guesses. I was able to verify information I should have not known as a 4 year old about my father, specifically that jack was sad he didnt see his son graduate highschool or walk his daugther down the isle (my aunt). My dad was dumfounded and I started to cry cause i thought I was in trouble. I will never forget the embrace my father and I shared that night.

Bartholomew, well turns out, built the house we lived in, his father started the farm back in the late 1880s, Barth died at the age of 66. Because of the time period, and were the farm is it took family a while to get to the house and prepare a proper burial, he was kept in his coffin in the parlor room for 8 days, before being burried. He was buried in a red flannel, blue overalls, with his wedding band and since his wife’s passing he always wore her wedding bad on a gold chain of his fathers around his neck. My mother tracked down the original seller who happened to be bartholomew's daughter. When asking about Bartholomew, the daughter disclosed she was sorry she sold the house without telling us about this, she actually couldnt live in the house anymore or on the farm because she thought she could here him. he would sing her the same song as a chiId exactly as I had described and "honey the sun will always be here tomorrow" was a saying of her father used during hard times. He also refused to have anything on his farm but a John Deere tractor, he even drove it to church on occasion.

Levi was the mystery one, I couldnt get all the facts pinned down on him, I always knew he was sad, and he was the only one that made everyone up to the validation of the last 2 friends, think that I was manifesting and making this up since I was an only child with the nearest neighbor 4 miles away and loved to draw...basically I was a loner who had to make friends for myself was the professional analysis. It wasnt until my mother's parents visited us that Levi was finally confirmed. my parents did not tell other people about their pint sized John edwards, but when my grandma asked who I was talking to in my room one day and I responded Levi, it got us into a conversation that changed her perspective forever. It had recently snowed and I was going to build a snow man with my grandparents while they visited. I was talking to levi when my grandmother rounded the corner and asked whom I was talking to, I responded Levi and she inquired further, I told her, that levi was telling me to put on extra clothes and that I shouldn’t play outside in the rain. She asked how old he was and I said 6. I told her, he was sad because he was told to not play in the rain and to always wear a coat and button up but never did and that he was sorry for not listening (this always puzzled me). I then finished with, “That’s why he was imaginary now”. My Grandmother froze and again I thought I did something wrong and started crying. My grandmother took my mother and in front of me said, your kid has something here and you need to hear it. My grandmother is the baby of 4 sisters, when they grew up it was customary that she would baby sit for her older sisters. Levi was the first born grandchild of my Grandmother’s parents, he was a rascal and a free spirit. One night in Lousianna there was a hurricane and most the family was huddled up at her mother and father’s. Levi’s parents were stuck returning from New Orleans. My grandma was tasked with watching Levi. He wanted to go outside and see the hurricane but was strictly forbid of doing so, he also had a tendency to play in rain without proper clothing. He broke the command of my grandmother and went outside. He ended up getting completely drenched. Knowing he was going to be in lots of trouble he climbed back up the tree he climbed down and hid under his bed. My grandmother checked on him during the night and realized he was under the bed but the damage was done, He died of pneumonia 7 days later. I nailed his description to the T. My grandmother still says she never had closure about what happened until I told her what I said…

I have taken up more room then I should have, I have additional stories some with trails some without, ill post if you guys don’t mind.

When I was a teen in Northern NJ, my buddies and I rode Honda Elsinore and Yamaha YZ bikes on the trails in the area, sometimes we would bring pellet guns or our fishing rods for the streams. One day we saw a plastic bag half submerged in the middle of a creek about 50 yards from an overpass and decided to shoot it with our pellet guns. After shooting a couple dozen holes in it I decided to see what was in it and waded out in the foot deep water- man I remember the ice cold water filling my hiking boots! I got to the bag with my friends, tore it open and discovered it was full of drowned kittens....I still remember it crystal clear as that day.

When i was 15 or so, a neighbor and myself were riding quads on his property. We came to a creek and noticed something metal and shiny poking up out of the mud. Being the curious kids that we were, we dug it up and tied it to the rack of our quad. It was an aluminum cylinder maybe 12in by 6in with a pin protruding out of one end and it was very heavy. We took it home, and immediately stuck it on the drill press to find out what was inside. After we obviously broke through to the inside, we turned it over and out came a black substance. Gunpowder. We had drilled into a shell of some sort. My dad finds out and is furious, he puts it in the back of his car and drives it to the town fire dept, the bomb squad shows up and removes it. The next day I had an ATF(might have been FBI, i cant remember) agent knocking at my door.

Turns out the lake I live on was used during the 40's to test mining explosives. No clue how one got in a creek a mile away. We also find little steel squares with holes drilled in opposite corners. I'm guessing they were anchors of some sort, you can find them all over the property. Also, there is evidence that the lake was at one point much lower and smaller. During a drought we can see the top of a staircase under the water.

^kitten story HORRIBLE....so horrible.

In 2010 I got the chance to head back east and take my first buck, my father and I met with my great uncle on some property he owned and we set out to nab my first deer. I started scouting and found a nice trail that you could tell the deer had been using to get to a lima bean field. My uncle had told me that his land was separated from his neighbor’s with a old wooden post fence with barbed wire. I walked to the very edge of the property and found this fence. Knowing from hunting movies that if you find a downed area of fence most the time Deer congregate there, its referred to as a shoot. I found this trail and the perfect downed section of fence. IT was just about dawn and I could see from across the field BLAZE orange coming towards me. I waved, He waved. As I sat there, this gentlemen rolled up imagine Si from Duck Dynasty. He introduced himself as Jerry and that he was my uncle’s neighbor. I noticed he didn’t have a gun, and he simply said he hunted for many years but now simply enjoys watching them. Jerry hearing that this could be my first buck asked if he could sit with me and I said sure. For 3 hours I talked with this gentlemen. I learned about Jerry and his war stories, he flew a P-51 during the war. He told me about his 4 kids, and his farm. In all honesty I wasn’t hunting, I was simply listening to an old timer. My father shot me a text asking if I was ready to go into town and get some grub and return in the afternoon. I told him lets wait till noon. I sat with Jerry for 2 more hours. Then at noon I thanked jerry for the stories and told him I’d be back at 2 for the evening portion. He told me he probably was going to call it a day. But said. I know of a game trail, follow the fence for another half mile, in the back there is an area that collects some water. The deer tend to pass through there around 3:30. He told me there was a nice 6 point that he had watched go through there recently. Before we left, jerry said when you reach the water from the fence, look at 3 o clock and you will see my tree stand, there’s a yellow ribbon on the tree and about a foot above that is the ladder, just pull it down and feel free to use it.

I climbed out of the forest and saw my uncle and father, I told them my experiences and my uncles said that’s impossible, his neighbor is dead and the farm is forsale. My uncle was furious cause other hunters have been using his land and the neighbors without permission and he was going to call the warden. I told him, no, I spoke with Jerry, he told me about the farm, and his 4 children and how he has his tree stand on the back corner of your property. Jerry told me you guys always swapped stories about Vietnam and WWII. My uncle looked at my dad, then me and then said, my neighbor was Jerry, and he did hunt on the back of my property. I then said, the guy is like 150 pounds, about 5’9 and has a huge grey beard. My Uncle again agreed. My uncle had not gone to that portion of the property since jerry Passed 10 months previous to now. He said they would sit and talk about life and wait for deer and turkey’s but he had never seen Jerry’s tree stand and Jerry wouldn’t tell him where it was. After lunch we all set out to where I was told to go. I told them Jerry said a 6 point was back there and he came through at 3:30. I had confirmed all the info I told them before lunch down to where the water was, where the tree stand was and so they left me to claim my deer. Completely perplexed but as my uncle put it, “we could use all the help we can get”.

At 3:20 I looked back out into the field and saw Jerry walking back toward where I believed his house to be, he was at least 300 yards or more away. Right before he hit the next thicket I saw him turn, and a wave. I gave a wave and he disappeared into the thicket. I shot my first deer at 3:35, he was a 6 point, and he was exactly where I was told he would be. My Uncle to this day calls that deer, Jerry’s deer. We do not get into specifics but my Uncle was very emotional when they came and found me after hearing the shot. My Uncle figured he hunted with Jerry for close to 30 years.

This one is my most recent, happened over the summer

I was at an internship for school in a psychologists office and was tasked as basically a glorified secretary. I was tasked with booking clients and relaying important messages to the Therapist. One day the phone rang and I picked up, the therapist had left on a business lunch. The voice on the phone identified herself as his mother Ellen. I told her he had gone to lunch and she said he was always a busy person and always put his work first. She told me about how proud she was of her son and rambled (I chocked it up to an elderly mother gushing about her Dr. son). We talked for probably 20 minutes. She asked me about my school and told me her son also worked full time to put himself through school. She then said she was excited to become a grandma! (I thought this was really personal so I tried to end the convo, I didn’t want to know personal things about my Internship leader). I tried to be nice and find ways to end the convo. I then notified her that I would let him know she called, and she said “O that’s not necessary” which I thought was weird but part of the internship is to document when people say when making appointments so I listed her in the computer.

I almost lost my internship over this thing. When the Therapist returned I presented him with the calls and notes I had taken. He called me into his office and asked me “what the_____” is this. He was very angry, asked me if I thought this internship was a joke, and if it was acceptable to be so insensitive to people who have authority over you. I was perplexed. I thought I must have drafted something wrong or about some one, or I completely butchered a name of a medication. He then said, don’t play koi, I know you know this is about my mother. I said I didn’t know anything. He called in his true secretary who had also returned from lunch and asked if she had told me anything about his mom. She said no, she didn’t see the need to. ONLY he and her work in the office. I was just a supplemental intern. This is when he asked me, what exactly I heard. I told him his mother Ellen called, she was really nice, she just gushed about you and the hardwork you had done, etc. (reiterating everything she had told me before). I told him I was sorry but she also told me you are expecting and so that’s when I ended the conversation. I didn’t want to invade your privacy. The therapist was floored. His work lunch, was actually with his wife, he had to cancel his real appointment. She broke the news to him at lunch that she was pregnant and the DR had confirmed it to her that morning. His mother had passed a 3 month earlier from a heart attack. She wouldn’t stop pestering him to make her a Grandma.

i changed the name of the mom for privacy reasons, just fyi.

Man, you have some great stories. Just curious; do you see your ability to talk to 'ghosts' as a blessing or a curse?

both, people are very judgmental. I cant tell most friends and family about this, thats why iam sorta exploding on here, I have alot to say but rarely have a the outlet to present things. Most people who arent religious say I am liar, those who are have a tendency to suggest i need to be "fixed".

I have been in a long term relationship and only about a year ago disclosed to her about what i can experience, I had something that I was able to validate to her that I was trying to keep away for the sake of our relationship. this is a problem i have always struggled with until I met her.

I have very vivid dreams and dream every night. The problem is I cant always tell if the dream is "real life" or not. By that I mean I have deja vu on a regular basis. I dont know at the time of the dream, I am seeing something that may happen in the future, but I can scare the bajeezus out of the girlfriend by finishing her thought, or the conversation of another table from people i have never met in a specific setting or event.

I havent had any bad experiences or ones that have affected me in a negative way, so I see the ability as kinda of a gift, I experience things others most of the time do not experience in real life.

But again the Con is not being able to share these experiences with loved ones or being able to bounce off of others as a sound wall. Ill post up another long story tonight. between school and work I dont have the time right now!

thanks to all of you that have been receptive, you dont always know how this kinda things gonna go over.

I think they're great. My sister use to talk to our great Grandma all the time when she was little. She did similar things always staring off into the corners of the rooms talking and playing with her self in a unusual way. My parents said her best friends were angles.

I have never experienced anything of that nature myself. Have been curious to though.

I used to have that happen a lot. I don't really dream when I drink and being single mid twenties and living in a college town with two roommates as bartenders kind of makes that happen more than it should. I was recently with a girl and stopped going out but she broke up with me the first part of this month. While we were together I had this crazy dream that I was sitting infront of my computer, happy that I was getting a pretty big amount of money back for my taxes and sad that I had loss something but I didn't think anything of it as I was in a good relationship and I knew how much I normally always get back.

Well, about two weeks later it hit me as I was sitting infront of my computer getting nearly a grand more back than I would have normally and still upset about breaking up with this girl I was with about a week ealier.

That doesn't happen much anymore, but up until college it seemed like a fairly regular thing that I really didn't tell anyone about but kind of enjoyed it happening.

Maybe I should write down my dreams after I have them.
