Will an older 2.5l block still bolt up to my 98 Wrangler???

Hello, I just got an 98 Jeep Wrangler with a 2.5l. Only bad thing is, the motor is blown. I'm looking into repairing this cheap. I would like to get another 2.5 block (original has a 4 inch hole in it), but I'm finding it hard to find a 98 2.5 engine locally at the scrap yards around here. But I have found 93's and 91's and such... My question is: Will an earlier 2.5l engine block still bolt up to all the original components in my Jeep? for example, the radiator, intake, exhaust manifold, ignition system, 5spd trans? Or do I need to get a certain year range? i heard something like 97-98 blocks are only direct bolt up.... Is that true?

Thanks in advance!
