Question will rubicon rock sliders fit an X?

Hey guys,

trying to make a decision on whether or not to buy 2 door JK rubicon stock rock sliders. The question is: will they fit my stock 02 wrangler X?

Thank you, that sure saved me some hassle.
Yet, what am I looking for as far as rock sliders for my X if I'm browsing through stuff on craigslist? Which jeeps do the rock sliders have to come off of to fit mine? Or is it as simple as: "...well they have to come off of an 02 Wrangler X"

Thank you.

I am sure someone else will answer with more knowledge than me. But the TJ's are from 97 to 06 and have the same body shape.

Ah got ya. So as long at the rock sliders have fit a TJ, they will go on any other TJ.

Yes. 97 to 2006.

Only FACTORY rockers you will find are off the rubicon models. And they are just trim...they are not sliders and will only protect from gravel kicked up by your tires. They are soft metal and don't provide protection from rocks or tree's. They will bend the first time you slide across a rock. There are a few companies that make plastic versions of the factory rubi rocker gaurd also. Bushwacker is one.

If you are looking for protection on the trail....don't waste your money on them.
