I would go for the xd9000i. I use to have that winch on my bronco and never had had a problem. Even on some sketchy pulls. Now I have the 9.5ti and that is a great winch as well!

No way. Go Engo E9000 or E10000. I got the 9000lb for $289 shipped. Great quality, good speed, and low amp draw. I have used it a few times and did great, even on my crappy battery! Great winch for super cheap. Lifetime michanical warrenty and 1 year electrical too! Truckaddons.com is where I got it. Call and u get a little more money off. Get it!

I have the m8000. Haven't used it yet but sold on it. I saw a m6000 with a snatch block do more than I hope I ever need to.

Warn also has a $50 rebate through the end of the year.

So I recommend the m8000. Use the rest of the money on recovery gear, battery(s) and maybe a better alternator.

I think it's a great value at $490.

That appears to be the best reviewed

Just like everything else people have their favorite. The engo is a new and popular winch with great reviews. Someday I'd love to have a 8274 on the front of my cj but I don't really need it. The m8000 will cover me for years.

X2 with nick.
I have an x8000 which the only difference is an built in solenoid where the m has a external... But I would go warn. I've pulled myself and others (rangers, f-150, 1500 chevy) with it. Great American made winch. Sorry I have a thing about putting as many American made parts on as possible..
