They are crap. Save your money and buy a Warn. I did'nt and bought a Smittybilt XR8 figuring that I would rarely use it so why buy the expensive one? Less than 2 weeks after I bought it it started falling apart and that was BEFORE I took it offroad. I used it once after that and it worked ok. When I tried to help out a stuck motorist this winter it just failed completely....embarrassing to say the least. You get what you pay for.
