Winches

I'm in the market for a new winch and was juast brosing around when I came across this: Tuff Stuff 12K Winch
eBay Motors: NEW 12 VOLT 12000 lb & 12500 pound JEEP SUV TRUCK WINCH (item 200330091658 end time Apr-16-09 19:31:12 PDT)

I know that most will probably say to go with a name brand, so I'm also keeping in mind, Super Winch.

I just wanted to see what some others thought or advice would be.

Chris

sounds kinda weird when they gotta talk it up so much, and try to convince you how good it is. i'm no winch expert, but you get what you pay for in this department.

if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. if it sells for over $1400, why sell it here for 250?

Yea I know kindof makes ya wonder sometimes.
Reading thru the specs they almost match up to some of the name brand one.

Have you googled it yet? Sometimes a simple google search will get you some reviews. I've never heard of it, and as was stated above, you usually get what you pay for.

i have, google, youtube.... the works. not one person seems to own this thing. youd think if someone bought it and it sucked they would at least speak up negatively about it. i think im gonna go out on a limb and get it around christmas.

Before you do, check out the other thread above here. Apparently someone found a superwinch 8500 for less than $300. Can't go wrong there.
