windshild visor

Well i added a tinted windshield visor today. It's against the law, but man that sun when its low is always inbetween the two visors shinning right in my eyes. Besides i only went down 3 1/2 inches so its not a big deal. I really don't think i'll be bothered by the law on this one.

Look's good. We can go down 4" or less. Love the barn. It looks like our family farm.

I had that done at the top of my jeeps winshield too, except darker. I completely removed my normal visors. Works great to keep the sun out of my eyes.

All windshields have a little mark on either side up in the corner that says "AST-I" with a little line under it. You can legally tint down to that line in most states. However, there are some states that are nazis about tint.

Looks good.

My windshield doesn't have that mark. I looked for it and i couldn't find it anywhere. North Dakota is one of those states though that doesn't allow any tint on the front windshield at all. I don't think they will bother me though since it is just a visor. The tinted part is done at 20%. My old car i had was done at 5%, Cops never bothered me with that one either.

Also sorry about the 1st pic being so big. I thought I added the one i resized but i goofed up. I'll try to fix it if i can.

Actually this is a spot i found along side the highway going out to my uncles place. There isn't many old buildings like that around here much any more. When i was a kid there were about 4 or 5 old farmsteades with old buildings less then a mile from where i grew up. Land owners tore them all down now and either built a new house in its place, or plowed it up for farm land.

I kinda like the old truck too. Don't see many of those around either anymore.

I actually wasn't planning on taking any pictures of the jeep there, I had stopped to take pictures of the old shed and truck. Then i thought i would take a couple with the jeep in the picture to. Amature photography is kinda a hobby of mine. I like taking pics of old farms and machinary.
