Winter time coming up sooo

So I'm a new jeep owner and this is my first winter I will b going through. I live in Atlanta ga so it doesn't get EXTREMELY cold down here, however it does get pretty cold sumtimes. So my question is, is there any ways of making the inside of my jeep warmer? Any add ons anything at all? Any mods or sumthing to the heater or anything? I have a 2000 tj by the way. Thnks!

You won't need any mods to the heater. Jeep heaters will cook you in short order...

If you take out the carpet and bedline the tub you'll get more heat too. It's like having the heater set to blow at your feet full-time.

It only takes a minute or two before I feel the effects of my heater. Same with my AC. Jeep climate controls are awesome. Granted, Jeeps are small and there isn't that much to heat and cool, but MAN it's awesome!

Coming from a Suburban, Wranglers rock when it comes to warming up quickly.... Stupid 'burban took 1/2 an hour to get warm, and then you couldn't keep it warm.....

i agree, you won't need anything to boost the heat even if you have a soft top. i live in NJ and have had my '05 since new (with soft top) and i have never had an issue with it being too cold in the cabin.

It'll get hot enough within a few minutes that you wont want it blowing on your skin, I normally put it on defrost or at my feet. Anything else and you'll want to roll down a window.

Kinda cold to me is below Zero. Is your antifrees full? Did you turn on the heater properly? Could be your thermostat? Could be your controls? Could be yore heater core? Is your vent plugged? Are you leaving the windows open?

I'm feeling the same thing. Our morning temps are already down to 15 degrees and we'll be hitting -30 quite regularly during the winter. So cold is all relative, but my heater doesn't feel as spectacular than everybody is mentioning.

Anyway to test the thermostat or the heater core before they fail? I'd rather deal with this now than in the middle of winter...

Great heat with mine. What does your temperature guage say? could be something as simple as a thermostat. If the guage is reading good temp. then check the controls, fan and heater core
