Wiper assembly removal

Trying to swap out my windshield frame and cannot figure out how to remove the wiper assembly where the blades connect and can not figure out how to get them out

First picture, the wiper transmission arm pops off the ball stud on the wiper motor arm.
Bit of a PITA, but a big blade screwdriver will usually do it.

Second picture, remove those big nuts off the wiper shafts, and the linkage/transmission will come loose. Then you'll have to feed it out through the hole in the first picture. Helps if you pull with wiper motor assy. to give you some more room.
