Wiper Blade Suggestions

With all the abilities, technology and jazz, why is it one still can't get a set of wiper blades that work well when it is freezing out or in horrible storms.

So flippen cold here so the one wiper blade kind of warps leaving a big mess and yesterday on my way home in a snow storm I actually had to pull into a parking lot, get out, rescrap my windshield, wipe of the blades because I couldn't see squat.

I need a pair of blades that will not do this! I actually enjoyed the ride home on the unplowed N. IL roads last night, would have been fun if I was able to actually see!!!

bosch makes a blade like some of the new car manufacturers are making. its one peice, so it doesn't have the different contact points of traditional blades. so it keeps one constant pressure is the design, they are around $20 a peice though, not worth it to me. but they work well from the people that use them.

PIAA Makes a silicone wiper that is awesome. I recomend them to everyone. Best wiper i've ever had. Wranglers use the size 13. give em a try. you usually have to buy them online just google search the. Get the silicone ones not the graphite.

just think if you lived out here everytime it rains you have to buy new wipers. The sun out here cooks them so a new wiper blade only last a a couple of months.

Ha, I lost my drivers side blade last night in the snow storm... doing the snap it on the windshield to clean it off while driving last night. My fiance laughed her ass off, me not so much. Luckily I had a spare. I think Ill check out the BOSCH blades, no pivots means itll probably not freeze solid on me again.

I've done the bosch, maybe got the wrong ones, cause they didn't impress me much.
I'll look into the other ones and I have my kid searching. He found some but they were fifty bucks, at this point, I don't give a rats. If it ain't snowing, I spend the days wiping the salt spit off the windows.

I use standard solid winter wiper blades on all our jeeps. Put them on in Nov and take them off in Apr, never had a problem.

I use bosch twin H340 blades in the front. they are so much better than the stock blades. mud, snow, thin ice...no problem with these blades.

I also use the regular winter wiper blades. They work pretty well. The metal is covered with a rubber boot so the snow and ice doesn't stick to the blades.
