I have seen them mounted to the hood before, but they were laid flat instead of sticking up. I think that would be hard to see over, IMO.

Maybe the owner is 7' tall? The windshield mounted lights give me problems.... But then, I'm 5'5"......

Seems like it's only a problem if you don't have a set of these:

I have mine mounted to my hood, it's laying flat though but I also have two 5" oval lights mounted to the jack mount I made and have no visibility issues what so ever, I'm a whopping 5' 10" lol my wife can see just fine too and she's 5' 7"

Looks like a good reason for an officer to pull the owner over for obstructed visual sight.

I thought about mounting a jack or lights there but I fold my windshield quite a bit.

I must say this is the only thing that actually made me laugh today and now I cant stop laughing the more I think about it. I live alone and havent had much human contact today as I'm off from my store and just getting away relaxing today. I love this photo. Theres something about this that you cant just laugh at it makes all mods seem mild and a non issue. AN 8" lift on a DD JK with 33's would look more reasonable than this set up.
