Wrangler Road Games.. with or without?

On a long weekend drive from Pennsylvania to Virginia, the wife and I decided to play a little game of "Count the Wranglers" - and.. to make it just a little more interesting.. we also decided to count the number of Wranglers with or without a cover on their spare tire.

Here are the results...

95 Total Wranglers Found:
60 did not have covers on their spares.
31 did have a cover on their spare.
4 that did not even have a spare tire!

I understand.. it's a little silly.. but at least now we know that 1 in 3 Wrangler owners like to put a cover on their spare tire. - hope you all had a great holiday weekend!

that's kinda fun. i've gone on small trips and counted different wrangler types. (TJ, JK, YJ, etc.) it's something that helps pass the time of a boring drive.

based on your little head count it appears im a rarity...no spare

When ever you see a VW bug, you call out "Slug Bug" with the color and you get to slug the person sitting next to you. Great way to pass the time.

When I was a little tyke in the 70s/80s, my borther and I would play "Pinto Pinch". He usually won cause he was a bit more sadistic than me. lol.

We played a night game with one headlamp burned out called....popeye! Not sure of the origin of the name but it was fun to punch my brother, friend, cousin, none the less. Same as slug bug and the rest, see a car with only one headlight working....yell popeye and wham-o!

Tom, just for you, I'll explain it this way.... Every Mustang you see, you strip and go for it.... Kinda hard to explain to the kids and the mother in law or pastor when you're giving them a ride, but you do what you gotta do to play the game....
