wrangler wont idle, help

Have a 02 wrangler 6 cyl. 53,000 mile auto trans. It hasent been run in 7 day. Started up but wont idle at all just dies below about 800 rpm. I assume its a idle control valve or throtle positioning senser problem but where is what. I did get it to idle some and removed the connector from a control part on the driver side of the throtle body. . . no change then I removed a connector on the passinger side of the throtle body . . . no change. couldnt get the connector unpluged from the possitioning censer so I dont know about it . . . any idea thanks Don
