Yet another Tire question!?!

I am just looking for a few opinions before I make my mind up between these 2 tires. I have found both close in price and there are positives with both and negatives with both as to why I want them. I was just wondering if anyone had ran either of these and what they thought about them.
The 1st is the General Grabber AT2
Here is a link: http://www.generaltire.com/generator...master_en.html

And a pic:

The 2nd is the Hankook Dynapro MT
Link:

And Pics:

Any opinions or comments appreciated!!

Sorry, havn't used either... but the General A/T looks an awful lot like the BFG A/T, and the BFG is one of the best all-around tires there is IMO.

I think that the General would be a great AT tire, and I think the hankook would have awesome traction in about anything. The only thing that worries me about the hankook is the wear. It looks kinda like a cross between a BFG MT and a baja claw so I think it would be a great running tire. The general has a 60,000 mile treadlife warranty so I know it would last but I am afraid that down the road I will regret not going ahead and getting the more aggressive tire, but at the same time afraid that if I do get the MT that the noise and ride will make me wish i had gotten the AT!! Decisions Decisions!!

How quiet are you really wanting them to be. Personally I don't think my claws are that loud on the street, but others feel differently.

Most radial tires will net you good life on the road if you are meticulous on your rotation and balancing.

General Grabbers had a real problem in the past seperating. I haven't had any recent experience with them though. Based solely on the tread and what I like to use my wrangler for I would go with the Hancook.

It doesn't have to be extremely quiet. I just don't want that hmmmmmm that you can't talk over. I really don't think they would be too bad. I think I am probably gonna go ahead with the hankooks and see what I think. Thanks

Let me confuse you some more. Have you looked at the Cooper STT?

Thanks Scout, that's just what I needed. I finally narrowed it down from BFG AT, MT, the general and the hankook to just those 2 and now you wanna throw something else in the mix. I really like the tire and the price of the 2 I have picked. I can get the generals mounted and balanced in 35 12.50 for 660 and the hankook's for 680.

That's always good to know!! I wish I had the setup to run some 36 x 13.50 Iroks!! That would be nice!! But then I would have to get some tube fenders to round out the package!!

The Cooper STT is a nice tire, but basicaly the same as the Mickey Thompson MTZ and ProComp X-treme M/T. All of which can be pretty pricey ~$200 per tire in 35" form.

Yeah, I don't want to spend that kind of money. My jeep is my DD but I still only put about 8000 miles a year on it. I think I am gonna go with the hankooks even if they don't last but 20000 miles thats still almost 3 years. I am still looking for anyone who has first hand experience with either though!!
