Yet another use for Windshield mounted lights

(short version) So on the way to work this morning a guy in a Infiniti wanted to play grab ass in the fast lane. In other words he was in the fast lane and speeding up/slowing down not allowing anyone to pass...So i finally got enough and shot the slot...I didnt cut him off (about a car legnth ahead) and he decides to put his brights on me, so i wave. I get around traffic and get back over in the middle lane, he passes me and i get behind him, and yes, i hit him with the Hellas...Pretty damn funny. And yes, its quite childish, yet funny

Sounds good to me
All's fair in war and traffic, besides you can't help it if his high beams shine on your diff covers and yours hit him right in the eyes.
I mean, he chose to drive sitting on the ground so.....oh well

Growdown. Sometimes you have to reduce your levels of maturity to help others realize how low theirs is. I can't stand idiotic drivers, and I've also done similar things to what the OP has. That said 99% of the time I drive with extreme care and caution and go out of my way to avoid a bad situation. Sorry not everybody can do everything by the book, not that it matters...

yea, on the road I am usually the guy that lets the rigs merge over in traffic, wave people over when they are unsure if they have room, stay in the right lanes unless I have to get around slower traffic...

BUT...come up on my a$$ at 100mph, swerve and miss my bumper by inches as you force your way into a spot meant for my comfort (i.e safety zone)...and yes, the 13 y/o comes out of me and fires up the Hella's

If there's any doubt why I'm armed and have 13 of the 130watt KCs on my rig, this thread should be the moment of clarity.

Kevbz, i am the same...I like to see the surprised look on peoples faces when i wave them in or back off the pedal to allow someone to merge...Courtesy seems to be unusual now-a-days...That being said...I can sometimes be in a mood not to be @#$!'ed with.

Jimbo, i did not tell you the worst part...when all of this happened my 6 month old got out of his car seat and knocked the beer out of my lap...

^^x2 on both of the above! Driving is where I usually get in trouble w/the bride. She hates riding with me sometimes...living close to the Casinos & Driving I-95 brings out the "worst" driver in me. Can't help it, they do something like described above or look at me coming at them & then run through a Yield (not even pausing) causes me to just loose it. I know its wrong, but I'm gonna try & show them the error of their way IJS!

The worst part is what happens after an aggressive idiot is HIGH BEAMED after an Andretti move--then swerves and wipes out another car-killing/injuring-etc

The High Beamer can get conjugal visits during his 15 yr to lfe prison sentence-but he sure showed that guy-

No thanx, been there many times !

woa....we went from high beaming someone to 15 yrs to life? were not talking about running someone off into a ditch, or cutting them off and stopping them to beat them to a pulp with a tire iron here...

I am about the least violent person you will ever meet, as laid back as fresh prescription of Valium, as cool as an Eskimo over Christmas break, as confrontational as two monks passing in the hall....but if we are that nervous nelly about it I better disconnect my fogs, disable my high beams and angle the lows to point at the ground, and pull the horn fuse, so as not to interrupt someones life threatening idiot driving habits.

Now don't get me wrong, I'm not condoning it, or advocating it, or bragging about it, but you can tell the difference between a absent minded driver making a lane change mistake and a hotshot who thinks the highway is a NASCAR proving ground

I have done this on a rural back road with my 130w KCs. This guy was riding my arse with these HORRIBLY bright BLUE HID lights. They had no projector housings so the beams were scattered EVERYWHERE, I was using my Low beams at the time and could not even see my own beams, i easily could have turned off my lights and used his lights while he was behind me to see the road. so I slowed down to let him pass and decided to show him what real illegal lighting looks like (mainly cuz he was riding my arse so badly). It was a immature moment for me but I had a big smile on my face as he sped away with his loud arse fart cannon on his 4 banger saturn

Nice! I need to get some lights!
If your top is off, you can hit 'em with the double birds straight up in the air.
Years ago I was in my car behind a guy and I flipped him off for some reason I can't recall.
He then shot 2 birds straight up out of his sunroof and I knew I was defeated.
2 birds almost always win, especially if you do them first, but if you do them from topless vehicle it's a slam dunk.

Many years back my wife and I had just left my parents house with my 1 month old boy in his car seat in the back. A car came flying up behind us and stayed right on my bumper. He was so close I could not see any light from his headlights. My wife turned around and could see his face and waved for him to go around us, he just laughed. We were doing the speed limit but he would not go around. I sped up 5 mph and he stayed right on my rear. I slowed down 5 mph under the limit and he stayed there. My wife still wavey him around. He finally decided to come around us and he missed my rear bumper by inches, came past us with his tires in our lane and his mirror mised our mirror by a inch or two. He sped past and cut back in so hard that I had to brake so he would not clip my front bumper. I was so pissed that I told my wife that if we catch the next redlight his ass was mine. Guess what, the light ahead turned red and he stopped. He was two cars ahead of us. I got out and took of to him. He watched me in his side mirror as I got to him, his left arm was on the door with the window down. I grabbed is left arm and pulled it out the window, which pulled his head to the window opening at the same time my right connected with his eye. His eyes roled back in his head as I knocked him clean out. I still had his left arm, I let it back into the window and slowly lowered his head into the girls lap that was with him. I told her to tell him when he wakes up that thats what happens when do this sh*t to somebody with a 1 month baby in the car. I walked abck and got into my car, a minute later we hear tire squeal and he spins around into the median across from my car and opens the door with a axe handle in his hand. I got out and told him that if he gets out He has three choices. 1. Get out and I will beat you to a pulp and you can take a ride in a ambulance. 2. Get out and advance towards my wife and baby with the axe handle and I will put three 45's in your chest and you can take a ride with the cororner or 3. You can get back in your car and leave understanding that you just endangered my wife and baby and glad that you are not riding with the cororner. He choose # 3 and left.

I do not care about me much, but mess with or endanger my family and it's on.

I can't say that I would have done anything different than what the OP did, but in all honesty we can't fix stupid. Getting them back pisses them off and usually makes them want to keep going, just like an argument over the internet. Just letting them do as they will and they say, "Oh driving like this is fun, I'll keep doing it." I know so many people with driving habits like that. Its just people feeling like they have something to prove is all that I can figure.
