Anytime a product says "bolt on" or "lines up with all factory hardware" - you know to clear your schedule for the day. It's the products that DON'T have this label are the ones that usually work out better and much easier.

Haha I wouldn't fully kill the idea of smittybilt I have the src font and rear bumper and xrc winch and my only complaint, is the crap and lack of instructions and there's always one bolt hole that's off other then that the product itself is bang for the buck

When a buddy of yours, who is vacationing in Hawaii, makes an update on FB showing a pic of their rental, a JK, and dedicates it to you.

When it begins to light rain and people tell you since you're topless. You respond by saying. "its mostly waterproof. No carpet nothing too serious. Plus i have towels and a tarp."

When your brand new 400$+ apiece tires have 5 lugs tore off before the "tits" are even wore off of them.

When you hit the brakes and water comes down from the roof onto the windshield (either rain or melting snow that's collected on the roof)

Did you REALLY get a second car to save gas or are you being funny?

If you drive 15k miles, get 15 mpg, and gas cost 3.75, that's $3750 in gas.

Let's say you drive your 2nd car 90% of the time and it gets 35 mpg. Now your fuel costs are 13.5k mi. @ 35 mpg + 1.5k mi. @ 15 mpg.
- - - > $1446 + $375 = $1821

You save $1929 per year. Except now you have added cost of insurance and maintenance on a second car.

How many years is it gonna take you to recoup your investment to save gas? What kind of car worth driving makes that a wise move?

I have a second car to save fuel over my Jeep. Your calculations are correct however insurance runs around $380 per year, and with it being a Honda I have minimum maintenance cost ( battery, 2 tires in 2.5 years). I paid $2500. for it and easily resale it for the same or more. Your arguement holds true for expensive second cars.
