How about when your jeep has a spare tire cover that says "Hummer Recovery Vehicle" and last year you pull a hummer out of an icy ditch and make sure everyone driving by at 5mph reads it, clearly see's you doing this and the hummer driver won't turn to face traffic because of all the thumbs ups your getting!

Must find that video and upload to YouTube.

He steps out of the jeep, walks to the access gate to the field, pulls a key out of his pocket, unlocks it, met back in the jeep and says with a cool head "you flip it you bought it"...... That had to be the most convincing test drive I ever had. I think the salesman had more fun than I. Have to admit, he makes one hell of a sells pitch with that key! It hooked me on my JK. Left the dealership after purchase, got on the highway for the first time (didn't make it to the highway on the test drive) and noticed I was passing other vehicles. Looked down saw I was doing 94 took a pic with the phone, texted it to a buddy who has the older jku, called him and the first thing that came out of my mouth was "Holy S**t dude! This thing makes it over 60!". He called me a liar and the next day we dragged my 2012 jku against his 2010 jku and he got smoked big time! Let him drive it and he started slowing down at 115 because of the hood hopping. Sad thing is it had no struggle getting there with the new transmission and engine.
One there is no need for a jeep to get over 70 ... And two, what does the 2012jku top out at because it terrified me and I've done faster in plenty of sports car but never over 60-65 in a jeep. Was defiantly doing the butt clinch.

I had a JK '11 and traded it for a JKU'12... Wow! What a change in power! I love it! Although I've only gone to 75 and that was because I was passing a car that kept blocking me in my lane. When I got the chance to go around.. I took it! Have you taken yours off-road yet? It kicks arse!! Enjoy

when you're at school getting your schedule and you look outside to discover its pouring rain and you remember leaving your windows out and you say "Oh no!" You run outside like a mad man and come back inside soaked and everyone is looking at you weird.

Sadly every time I plan to take my 2012 off road something comes up. But, during the first 300 miles I got stuck in some nasty traffic on 35 coming back from camping and floating the Guadalupe, found that the breaks are better than motortrends claims. After 20 min of crawling over 3 lanes in nast rain to get to the right lane I did pop it in to 4h and go down a gently sloping but bumpy as heck grassy / muddy median that was about 75-100 wide to get on to the access road :-/ ... The fire truck behind me got stuck doing the same ..... Sad thing is there appears to be no even half way decent legal off road places in my area unless your on a dirt bike or 4-wheeler but I know some freakin awesome places at weatherford lake with some good mudding and two really nasty very steep hills that are tuff to get up about 100 feet high and the cops could care less. They drive by and stop to watch all the time. Now I'm getting depressed thinking about it :"-(

Btw out of curiosity does anyone know what they govern at? I would have tout 105-110 only based on the fact that my 03 explorer governs at 112.

I took my top off in Feb because it warmed up into the 50s.

It was fine except on the interstate. That was a bit cold.

However, what I did not take into account was that my top was not broken in yet. It was really tight still, so when the temp dropped down to 24, I could not get the top back on. I drove home that night and nearly froze!

Thank goodness I was prepared for being outdoors. Hood. Gloves. Heavy winter coat. Gator. Oh and the heated seats were actually much appreciated!!

When your map isn't a McAlly's Atlas but rather 5 different water/tear proof Natl Geographic topo maps of mid to southern Utah and the four corners area jammed between the seat and console.

Map??? I haven't used a map in years.... Technology has ruled maps useless. GPS and cell phone apps have more info than you'll ever find in an atlas.

When you get offended by another jeep girl when she doesn't say "hi" back!

When you drive through a parking lot and go the long way around to check out a cool jeep that's parked there.

Evidently... you've never been to my neck of the woods. Hahahhaaaa. Only way you get imaging for 1/2 of what I go to would be from a Govt Keyhole spy satellite with real time imagery. And GPS is often useless because you can only get 1 to 2 gps sats which won't give you coordinates and preloaded app/maps don't show current trails. A lot of which are for atvs which you can still go on but not important enough to show up. Sides...I like maps for when you want to look at the BIG picture and go..."Hey...lets go check that out." without all the scrolling around.

I did that with a rabbit the other day. I thought i might have inadvertently crushed it, but in my rearview saw it scamper off the road and into the bushes.

I have my iphone. But I also Carry a basic road map of western Massachusetts (where I live). Because 1. You never know if your going to have service or not to use "technology" and 2. I mark all offroad spots on said map. I like being primitive sometimes.
