When you are thinking of installing a kill switch only because your wife keeps stealing the jeep from your work. I know she wants to drive it too, but she could at least put it back so I could have my "decompression" time after work.

Yup. When laid down all soft top hardware is inside and the hardtop clips outside.

X2. I did this one time through a very deep puddle in a heavy thunderstorm I got caught in. (Cold rain water is a bit of a wakeup when it's not expected, as I'm sure we're all aware.) Dashboard puddles and all. Thank God for tonneau covers!

I used hard foam house insulation (1 or 3/4") in a 4'x8' sheet and cut it to lay on the roll bars in the front and back of my jeeps for the winter. The tiny bungees held them down just fine. The biggest pain (if you can call it that) was cutting for the sound bar. It made the soft top very pleasant and quiet when it was too cold to drop.

When during a thunderstorm, you cant put the top up bc of lightening, but the only thing you worry about getting wet is the stereo.

One easy way to do this would be to pull one of the fuses from the box. Take out the ignition and put it in your desk at work, and the jeep's not going anywhere. It's a bit inconvenient, but it's what I use if I'm ever concerned about theft.

Thought of a few more:

When you're never in a hurry to get anywhere because you want to enjoy every minute of your drive.

OR

Every time you hit a bump you think f*** I hope my cell phone didn't fly out of the car!

OR

You're constantly feeling around in your pockets to make sure you don't have anything important that could fall out.

When you're chowing down in a diner and hear thunder rumble in the distance, everyone runs out to roll their windows up... You stay seated because your windows are in the garage with your doors and top.

You see every car dodge a big puddle of water on the road and you stay straight and go through it, BECAUSE YOU CAN!
