Exactly why I got 7" flares. Notice how much mud is on the wheel while hardly any escaped out from under them. The day I got hit in the head with a rock thrown from my tires was the day I ordered the flares.

Sure the look isn't as cool and aggressive, but keeping mud under the Jeep instead of flying everywhere works for me.

You know you drive a jeep when:

There is a huge snowstorm and you pull 8 cars out of the ditch, including 2 FJs and a h***er over the span of 15 minutes. Sorry I know I'm not allowed to swear.

You accidentally wave at another jeep out of habit while driving your girlfriends Saturn.

You see some random tracks leading into the woods on the side of the road, and decide to go check it out because it looks like fun.

You are driving along the highway and your friend keeps complaining about the ride and you reply I honestly have no idea what youre talking about. Im fine. It's really quite smooth.

Later that drive he starts complaining about the tire howl and you still have no idea what he's talking about. After all this is a completely normal drive.

When it starts to rain as you are coming out of the hardware store and you had the top down and come out to find it up with all the windows zipped in.

When you see someone has their top down as it starts to rain and put their top up and windows in for them

This one is something my friend told me: when you see a situation and the first thing you think is: if only I had my bumper right now

When you skip school to get new coils put on the jeep

Your idea of a spring break vacation is going to any offroad park within a hundred mile radius

When you take your prom date to prom in a topless doorless jeep and she wanted to!

When you and your buddy drop the top in the middle of winter and get bundled up and go take a drive for the hell of it

When you are the one kid at school that doesn't speed or drive like a maniac since I actually take so much pride in what I drive.

And lastly: when you have the unique and amazing experience that only comes with owning a jeep. OllllllO

You pull in to get emissions done and the guy tries to convince you he drove a Civic places the Jeeps couldn't even make it because it was front wheel drive.

Once the pass certificate is in hand you say, "I want to see you this trial, give me your number so we can head out."

All of a sudden he's moving out of state to be closer to his kid. Hmmm.

I let husband drive Jeep today. He has been in bad mood and his convertible is in shop. I knew today was going to be awesome weather wise so I thought it might put him in better mood but.....I was so worried about the Jeep. I called him after he arrived, after he got back from lunch and when I thought he would be home today just to check on the Jeep. Now I am in a bad mood cuz I didn't drive it today!!! Passed the usual people on the way to work and of course they didn't recognize the 4 Runner waving to them (habit).

When you know where you park your jeep in the driveway just by the mud and dirt stripes from previous excursions...

I'm in highschool to. I went crawling with a bunch of built jeeps and one couple brought their baby and dog with them too. The baby (probably about two) could walk under the jeep with out even having to duck down. All I could think was "watch that'll be me in ten years." Lol

When a yellow Lamborghini cuts you off at the light, and you don't get mad. You just think to yourself, I could totally drive over that thing...

My Jeep isn't dirty until I can't tell what color it is anymore. Then when I get it washed, it looks brand new; well, mostly new.

Your getting into your Jeep at the dealership after picking up the green slip (Nevada), and two guys you never met come up to you and invite you to Moab, and show you their videos from their last outing. Or, when your neighbor (and friend), tells you he can't ride in your Jeep because you just washed and waxed it and he's embarrassed because the layer of dust that was on it is gone.

When after you just power wash it your buddy says "you should clean it up sometime" and you look at him and ask "how much cleaner does it need to be? I'm going to get dirty again this weekend!"

Yes it was. And to make it worse the bird must have been eating blue berries LOL! It cleaned up easy enough, just annoyed me. I even parked far from the trees for that very reason. Oh well and least it wasn't the drivers seat.

When you drop your baby off at the dealership to fix a paint issue on the hinges and for the next three days all you do is mourn because you miss driving it. Then when you call to check on it they tell you that there is also rust under the hinge and they are waiting on approval from Chrysler to paint the door. Oh BTW it's 80 today and virtually cloudless.
