That's rough! I'd try to figure out what's causing it to be so low if I were you.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but if you're getting 200-240 miles a tank, you're getting more than 9 mpg. Assuming you have a 20 gal tank. Also, unless you corrected your speedometer for the 33s, it and the odometer will be off, reading lower miles than you actually went.

You know you drive a jeep when you go to the OBX and you didn't bring the jeep and every jeep you see makes you miss your jeep even more!

You've had a pair of sprinklers running all night under the jeep, come out at 7 am and still hear "glorp"s of mud falling off

1. When prepaid gas cards are your favorite birthday gift.

2. You buy a CB and somebody asks why you have a CB when you have a cellphone. And you have to explain to them that cell phones don't work everywhere. (Got a nice Midland 75-822 CB with an Amazon gift card from my Dad for my bday Friday. Thanks dad.)

3. When you have an argument about how you wouldn't trade your jeep for a BMW 7 series. Then he said you could sell it and buy 3 Wranglers. Then have to explain that every single Jeep is a one of a kind. And he says there are lots of them just like yours all over and I said, "no, there are many like it, but this one is mine."

Yeah you calculated it wrong. I get 200 a tank, so if you're getting 240 that is unmatched.

I went down there in May and had the same problem! I was coming from NJ to there, then over to Charlotte, then home. The gas bill would've killed my wallet, but I still wish I brought the Jeep.

Haha, my Jeep was out of commission this whole month because my clutch was out so I've been between my wife's Mazda Protege and our roommates Chevy Cruze. EVERY time I saw a Jeep my hand would unintentionally begin to perk up. I'd have to check myself and be like "Dude, you're in a car. Stop it."

Good news though! I got my clutch replaced over this weekend. Thank God.

My g/f's son apparently once saw "Jeep" in a mirror and started calling hers a "qeeJ". Since she had so many problems with her old Grand Wagoneer we affectionately use the term "qeeJ" when a vehicles is being problematic...

If the rear driveshaft is broken, wouldnt takeing the transfer case to 4HI essensally make you just front wheel drive? You wouldn't have to worry about wearing it out since the rear wheels are not being driven since the drive shaft is broke. Of course you may have to remove whats left of the driveshaft

When you know the purpose of each gauge and you actually pay attention to them while driving.

You would think so but when lights come on in your dash to tell you there's a problem like in most vehicles you aren't looking at gauges.
