$1000 for a watch isn't that bad. Last year two of my friends graduated from service academies and I got each of them Citizen Skyhawks. Both will be aviators so hopefully they will get good use from them.

I carry the citizen line. Nice watches. But even being in the business. I wouldn't spend that for a watch.

I've got a citizen watch......I think it was $200. "Railroad approved" thing has taken a licking and keeps on ticking....and it looks nice too! That's the most expensive piece of jewelry I own..lol.

Sometimes a watch is more than just a watch.

You let a nasty one go while riding in someone else's vehicle without remorse until you remember you're not in your Jeep ... because in yours, with the top down and doors off, you can let'em fly all day long with people right next to you and it just wafts out!

your coworkers have to cover for you when it starts raining so that you can run out and pull a tarp over the rollbar.

When everybody you know, including the guys in your motorcycle desert racing club, call you JohnnyJeep!
Plus only owning Jeeps for the last 20 years helps too!

You may know all about watches, but that went completely over your head.

I know watches shouldn't cost more then $10.

You know you drive a jeep when you go to two stores in the same day with your wife in her car and is the only time so far you park next to a jeep and the other store a jeep parks next to you and you get upset cuz you Sid.t drive yours.

And when your wife gets upset cuz she os tired of you telling people you can't wait for snow so you can go jeepin.

If I just wanted them to have a watch I could have picked one up at Walmart for $20 and they would have had a watch. Is that fitting for someone who has just graduated from Westpoint or Annapolis and has committed their life to serving our country for the next 8 years? No, it's not. I got them watches that are representative of what they have achieved and that they will have for decades, and maybe generations, instead of watches they will have for a year or two. They don't just represent a watch, the represent the pride I feel for two boys that I watched grow into outstanding men and who I am very happy to call my friends. It's about recognition of a job well done in very difficult circumstances and being happy to have been a part of their success in whatever small way I may have been. I could go on and on, but if you don't get it by now there's nothing I can tell you that will change that.

When a client comes into your work and before leaving ask 'who's jeep is that' and you proceed to talk for an hour about future mods... thus pissing your boss off...
