When your friend tell you not to go camping because cars are getting swept away in flash floods and you responds "but I have a jeep"

When your mechanic father gets angry at how high maintainance she is

When you check out your jeep and think "damn she's sexy" and think of mods you want

When a guys name gets turned into a WF term. Chadwick

When you WANT it to rain so you can get her muddy again

When you have mud caked all over and pull up to a fundraiser car wash and hear the football players say "you seriously want us to wash this?"

When there is so much gravel road dust on your glasses you can't see out of them.
When you and your buddies hair is so dusty you look like younger versions of Jerry B.
When you jump out of the jeep and slap your pants and it looks like you just come off an 8000 mile cattle drive.
And finally, while you are blowing off the interior, the wife comes into the garage and waves her hand infront of her face, coughs and asks how can you breathe in here?!

We were at the Jeep dealership this week test driving the "big momma" and the salesman referred to it as a car. I asked him how long he had been working for Chrysler Corp selling Jeeps. He didn't understand why and seemed offended that I asked.

I told him that he must be new to selling Jeeps if he calls them cars. He still didn't get it. So I went and asked the Sales Manager to get us a new salesperson. He asked me why I wanted a different salesman and I explained that I wanted to deal with a salesperson who knew about Jeeps, not a car salesman.

^^^ Ha, ha^^^ when I went into the dealership before I bought mine, the first salesperson who came out asked me what I was interested in. As soon as I said Wrangler he told me he would go and get another salesperson to help me because the Wrangler people always knew more then he did. Lucky for me at this dealership, the sales manager is a Jeeper himself, and was all happy to show me his pictures, his rig out in the lot and even some video of his Jeep from that weekend when they went wheelin'. I respected that first salesman for backing off and admitting he didn't know enough to help me.

I looked at a jeep in sioux city not too long ago.The salesman came out and we shoot the breeze.I couldn.t help it-I asked him how does a person lock in the hubs.He reaches down and tries to turn the hubcap.I asked him if the top was electric and ofcourse he searches in the cab for the button.I asked him what kind of mileage could I expect. He says 20 in the city and 25 on the highway. On the way back to the car the wife calls me an a$$h@le.I tell her I do this for the forum.

Thanks for taking one for the team!

I was just in the dealership yesterday for a free oil change and I was asking the service manager about my soft top, and the fact that at 75 mph on the interstate in high winds the side along the passenger door would flip up a little bit. He looked right at me and said these things weren't made to go that fast.

You know you drive/own a jeep when you get into these little conversations with folks who are clueless.I told a guy I had my jeep up to 85 mph once.He says thats impossible because jeeps have full front ends.--------What?------I did not ask.Guy told me once jeeps can go in really deep water cause the engineers set the motor up higher in the engine bay.The best one so far,the reason for the flat fender is for aerodynamics.Sometimes its best to just hush.

You know you drive a Jeep when...
1. nothing ever gets lost under your seats
2. driving with the top down in 98 degree weather is fun

BTW - after 3 days of owning my first jeep I have experienced the jeep wave and sticking your foot out to stop the door from closing back on you. I have a lot to learn and think this forum going to be amazingly helpful.

When on a narrow road, and a firetruck is coming your actually excited cause then you have a reason to go "off-road" when you were only going to the store!

When you don't bother looking in the mirror to fix your hair.

When you spend time in front of the weather channel hoping the rain/snow will come soon

When you go to the store for some milk and return with off-road and Jeep magazines and forgot to buy the milk.

When you go out to buy yourself a suit for a wedding and return home with Jeep t-shirts, jackets and pants.

When your daughter is the most popular girl at the youth group gathering after being dropped off by mom, in the mud covered Jeep from yesterday's outing... The kids were in the parking lot awaiting departure for the drive in movie, and every boy there whipped around to see who was getting out of the mud covered Jeep... She was pretty stoked!

when you drive less than a mile to a wedding and people are picking crud off your clothes.

when you wonder if it would be wrong to name your Jeep "Ashley's Ring" cause the money for the ring is going into the Jeep.

If you consider Moab Mecca.

You can't wait for your last day at your Reserve unit so you can finally crawl that steep drain ditch intersection. (10 months)

Have ever crawled your parents rock garden with brother spotting and pop watching.
