Unfortunately my golden is to fat to get into my Jeep, and the only time my new Collie/Hound (rescue) was in it, she got car (Jeep) sick

Hey guys, here is my other baby, lol. And speaking of dogs, I have a question for you. I'd love to know how everyone with a dog harnesses them in so that they can't jump out when the top is down.

Well the gold colored one in the back is getting to old to jump in, the younger one still will hop up though

the same way i teach them not to jump out the back of a truck. drive through a field at low speed and push them out. they learn quickly not to do it.

LOL! Thanks, I might just try that. But I should have mentioned that I don't have an average dog anymore. That would have worked perfectly for our late Sheppard/Akita, but knowing my bone-head Pit Bull, she'd just smile and run off. And if she saw something she wanted to chase, nothing would stop her anyway. We actually tie her up when the soft top is on so she doesn't rip through the windows. She broke through one side already, and this top has seen way better days. Since then, we also open our windows at home from the top so she can't jump through the screens. I can walk her anywhere in public and she's fine when she sees another dog. She even lives with three cats. But let one walk by HER house, or let her see one when she's in HER vehicle, and she turns into Cujo. I just use some cable wrapped around the roll bar on one side and another small chain leash on the other. This way she's confined to sitting in the middle of the back seat, and can't lean out either side and choke herself. I was just wondering if there was anyone who doesn't have a normal dog, and straps them in any easier, or just differently.
