Talking ~ Your Jeep modification short list ~

Ok, I know everyone here has one, so tell everyone what's on your short list. List anything you really want to buy, anything you're about to buy or anything you've been dreaming of getting. Let's see how long we can keep this thing going.

This might be a good hread to show the spouse when your birthday is about to roll around.

I'll start:

Soon to buy:

Rockhard Sport Cage
Rhino the interior

Wanting to buy:

A new lift. (someday)

What 2?

I went to fire my LT1 yesterday and got nothing. Started studying and found out all 8 of my injectors are clogged up. No fuel? No start. LOL!! That's what I get for letting my project motor sit for so long!!

Try soaking them over night in gas and injector cleaner. Worked on my buddies Supra motor.

That's my first step. I'm looking for some injector rebuild kits. No sense in tossing some 12 year old O-rings back in.

It was pretty fun watching the backfire out the intake tho

Go to rope vs steel on the winch
See how much trimming I would need to fit 38's
Upgrade the steering box and pump
Beef up the cage
Add one of those cool vinyl overlays..

New steering stabilizer shock (old one's had it) and while I'm at it upgrade to Rancho 9000's (fromt the 5000's)

Full sized spare 33" x 12.5" (and a bumper/tire carrier to hold it)

Drop the tank and cut tube to make 19 gal. (might as well install tank skid plate at the same time)

CD player (& those speakers with the dome lights that go on the rollbar corner above the seatbacks)

------------------------------------------------------------
I guess the above would qualify for my short list. I was going on-and-on and had to stop and think what would really be considered short list material. See below for the on-and-on part.

Tummy tuck (for the Jeep)

4.56's

Optima or equivalent battery (dual battery setup even better)

Winch

steering box skid plate

factory smart key

Tuffy locking center console & rear locking cargo storage box

New seats

Lockable hood latches

Soft top, or at least a bikini style top for the Summer (I like my hardtop in the winter)

Hmmm, I'll play:

Soon:
Evo or Johny Joints for the CA's
New winch

Sometime this year:
Fab up a cage for it

Sometime next year:
Toss the D30 pig in the yard and replace it with a HP44
Then go to 37" claws

"soon to buy" is all dependent on how long it takes me to win the lottery, but just cause the list is already made.............each product is hyperlinked to the website where i have found the best price (prices/websites updated as found). it used to be prioritized, but those seem to change all the time.
