Your thoughts needed on fender flares mounted with double sided tape

HI Guys,

I just received an order of new Bushwacker Extend-a-fender flares set. I bought these on line thinking that they would replace the original factory ones. When I opened the box and read the directions, they mount over the factory flares and are held in place by double sided tape. I'm not thinking that these will be very secure and I need some thoughts from you guys. Right now, I'm thinking of returning them and ordering a different style. What do you guys think?

Thanks,
Steve-o
