DNS issues? Boobies...!

When I'm navigating around from post to post I have had the WF flip over to an adult site. I am a system admin by trade and I have dug in to this on our end and its the site not us. Could you please look in to this? I do a lot of looking on here when I'm at work and would prefer to not have this keep happening. Not that I dont like boobies, but I dont like them on my work computer at all.

Thank you

Being April 1, I'm almost afraid to get involved in this one, but are you running a good adblocker?

I've never had a redirect on this site. I run Win7, Chrome, Norton, and have AdBlock Plus as an extension.

The only other thing would be a virus on your end, but you've probably already done the legwork on that. If not, run Malwarebytes just for s&g's.

I'm a 20 year IT Systems admin. Yes my system is well maintained and clean. No I never run an "Add Blocker" on a corporate network however this is happening on, PC and MAC, Chrome IE and Firefox. I did do as much as I could to ensure that it was not just me prior to sending the link. I do see also there are others having the same issue.

It happened to me this morning just clicking back to the jk tech forum. I did a virus scan right afterwards and had zero threats...

Sorry. Thought you had a new one. The block should be applied by now. Still getting these? If so, grab a fresh link for us. Could be it's a slightly different one, or the previous block didn't take

I'll confirm that i am being redirected to that same porn site listed above as well. My background is network operations and network engineering. For me it only occures when loading or reloading the jk general discussion page.I have updated my virus/ad/mal programs to make sure it wasn't me. I would also like to note that it occurs on all my platforms apple/android/pc.

Can anyone get us the new URL for this?

I checked with tech and the one reported previously still has a block in place. So they've changed something to get around it. The more reports we can get to tech, the better a . block they can put in place.

Just FYI your block list is not working as I just now got the same error. I hope you can get this fixed soon. I'm not able to use this site until you get it fixed.

Thank you

Not questioning those who this is happening to, but why does it affect so few people? You would think that if there was a redirect it would affect almost everyone?

Hey,

I've reached out to the ad team to have them take another look into the chaturbate popup that keeps happening to you guys.

Just to clarify this is not a pop up its a redirect. When I click on submit to a post its redirecting me that site. Or if I'm navigating between posts its redirecting me to that site. So this is not a traditional pop up its a redirect.

If it's a DNS issue then only people using the affected server/servers will be impcated. Because we are all over the country with different providers my guess would be a provider with a corrupt table within one of its servers. I'm currently using a DNS server with cox communication. What providers are the others with this issue using?

this kept happening to me as well. seems to work well for a few days and then suddenly the chaturbate page pops up and you can no longer browse anywhere on the forum. Hopefully some kind of fix is found and thanks for bringing this up OP.
