Help with pictures...

This will probably be a stupid question. I tried finding other links here but I couldn't find anything specific.

What is the correct way to upload photos. I use forum app on my phone most of the time. If I upload photos from my library will it show up?

Try going to Photobucket and u/l your pics there. Then copy the what's in the IMG code box next to your pic and paste it into a message on here. I believe Photobucket has an app that you can use on your phone.

Here's the link: Photobucket Mobile

Perfect! Thank you!

I am curious. Can you see my avatar? Also, I uploaded a photo on this comment. Can you see it? I'm just trying my phone options before signing up to photobucket.

Ok cool! I learned my tidbit for the day and it's not even noon.! I guess the avatar can be uploaded from any where but I can't post pics unless I put them on photobucket. *sigh* been here for almost a year and been posting invisible pictures for everyone to see! God, I'm such a noob! Lol!

Is there a link or a thread that explains in more detail about posting to threads, i.e., emoticons, multiple quotes, changing fonts to bold, italics, etc.? I've been hunting around but can't seem to find the correct place. I thank everyone for their help in all my questions!

This is pretty simple.

To multi-quote. At the bottom of each post is a blue box that says "quote". If you click that one, it will automatically open a reply box with the quote in it.

Next to that is a blue square with one quotation mark (multi-quote). You can click on that in as many posts as you would like to respond to at once. The box will turn orange when clicked. After making your selections click on the "post reply" box under the last poster's title block.

To use options such as emoticons, bold, italics, etc. Again click on the "post reply" box. All of the text editing features are located across the top of the reply panel as well as the option to add attachments (pics) directly from your computer or phone without a photo sharing site.

Off to the right you will see all of the available emoticons.

The key is to use the post reply. With this you can practice editing and preview your post before sending

I hope this helps.

I rarely use the computer for this site. It's always through my iPhone. Your directions are the best I've seen and I so appreciate you taking the time to type this out for me.

My phone is very different from what you're describing but your descriptions and directions were concise enough to where I can figure out the subtle similarities between your descriptions and my phone. I just have to play with this a bit.

Hell. I spend so much time on here I figured it was time to finally figure out how to use the site.

Thank you, thank you! I owe you!

You can have my first born. Seriously.

I figured out everything and why there is a difference. I use the forum app and the set up is a little bit different. It's more streamlined and I think a few options are missing, whereas your directions, from the actual website, had everything I was looking for!

Thanks again and my first born is still available.
