This is pretty simple. To multi-quote. At the bottom of each post is a blue box that says "quote". If you click that one, it will automatically open a reply box with the quote in it. Next to that is a blue square with one quotation mark (multi-quote). You can click on that in as many posts as you would like to respond to at once. The box will turn orange when clicked. After making your selections click on the "post reply" box under the last poster's title block. To use options such as emoticons, bold, italics, etc. Again click on the "post reply" box. I rarely use the computer for this site. It's always through my iPhone. Your directions are the best I've seen and I so appreciate you taking the time to type this out for me.
My phone is very different from what you're describing but your descriptions and directions were concise enough to where I can figure out the subtle similarities between your descriptions and my phone. I just have to play with this a bit.
