Default how about a new area

hey guys how about an area for people fabricating and swaping parts changing motors building cages and other more involved prodjects. leave it open to cj, yj, tj, jk, or homebuilt prodjects. things other than how do i fix my door locks or what is a good soft top cleaner. i dont like having to go threw pages of threads only to find a couple threads that have the word fabricate in it.

A fabrication thread sounds like a winner to me.

i like it, actual labor involved changes other than bolt on. building and or installing stuff that doesn't really go where you're putting it. what should it be called?

anything driveline, frame, axles, cages, heavy body mods, if it needs a torch and welder it goes here

Bribes are being taken in the form of Halloween candy as well as compliments and general ass kissing.

Not a thread - a whole subforum. Still taking recommendations for titles...

Damn YOU! get out of my head ! Was thinking the same thing.

But should it be limited to just one off type fab or ANY FAB or Modification.

If it is left open to any modifications it may be a bit more used?

I'm not talking about a budget boost or "hey dood I got new wheels".

But actual modifications like full lifts or building your own bumpers.

Yes the general idea we've been tossing around is for a general fab shop type sub forum. For anything custom done to your rigs. Motor swaps, full suspensions, cages, bumpers, belly skids etc.... Since you all posted it we brought up the conversation again amongst the mods and the general theory is that the board is probably ready for such a section now.
