Yeah, I think I need to redo this. I now use photobucket over ImageShack and believe it to be far superior and easier to use. I just might re-write it on my next day off.

Flickr used to be a ton easier, but they changed their linking system last week and now it's BROKE...
But I gotta good workaround...

AND, this should work on ANY photo, and will work on 99% of web pages... I also am pretty sure it works in any windows newer than win95....

a. right click the IMAGE

b. go to "properties"

c. highlight the entire URL... it'll say "adress", "URL", or both. everything starting at (and including) the http:// part

d. right click and hit "copy" (yes, you right click in the right click box... windows is FUN

e. cancel out the dialog box

f. go to your forum post

g. hit image tag button

h. right click and paste in between the two (IMG) tags

i. voila!

This is straight off the Jeep.com page

Looks like a lot of steps, but once you get it, it's super easy

WARNING: there are no resizing or editing options when you do this, and if the image is removed from whatever page you got it from, it gets removed from your post too!

Good info...i've been doing it like this very often, depending on the situation..If i don't do it that way i'll use imageshack.us SUPER simple, don't even need an acct..

And if you're a Google Chrome user like myself..see the image

I have a photobucket, an image shack, and a flickr acct... I was using photobucket for the longest, but I upgraded to an android phone with an 8MP camera in it, and it will upload straight to my flickr acct in two button presses. downside is flickr "upgraded" their link posting option and I can't get it to work, so I switched back to the "universal" method, and since it's "universal" I figured it might be a tad useful for other folks

My Android phone lets me upload images to Photobucket as well with the Photobucket app. Lets me view all my folders and everything.
