how to re-direct?

How do you do the under-line method so when you click on it, you get re-directed?

In your "Quick Reply" window (in browser), you should see an icon that looks like a globe and chain link. Click on that to enter the url you wish to link to.

In the (iPhone) app, when replying to a post, there is a "+" button which enables you to post photos or links as needed.

If you want text in your message to act as the link, you follow the instructions above, but first you must type in the words you want and hi-lite them. The click the link button.

Yes, you will highlight the text in the address bar and select "edit-copy."

Then, in the link window (as noted above) you will select "edit-paste."

You can also use a "right-click" on your mouse for the copy/past functionality.

Ok, for an example, I have two threads here. How would I post a link in the "thread question" to direct those folks to the "how to re-direct" thread ?

Here's how I would explain it. It can be done quicker/easier, I'm sure, but for simplicity's sake...

1. Open both threads in separate browser tabs/windows
2. Copy the url (as noted above) from the thread you wish to redirect/link to
3. Go to the thread you wish to redirect/link from
4. In either the Quick Reply or Advanced Reply windows, click on the little Insert Link icon (as noted above, the globe/chain icon)
5. Paste the copied url into the popup dialog
6. Click "OK" to insert the link into your post
