Ignore Thread?

Is there way to ignore a thread? Don't see that option inside a forum, and searching I only find ways to ignore users.

I'm kind of lost here. Why do you want to have the option of ignoring a thread? Did you subscribe to it? Is the thread title offensive to you?

It is the lazy side of me. I always click on New Posts up top, so to clean up what I see it would be nice if some didn't show up. Nothing offensive, just certain ones I never read. But, again, just being lazy!

You can ignore a thread by opening the thread and clicking on the thread tools drop down menu at the top of the thread. There is an ignore option.

Please try again. You should all be able to use the ignore feature (and I found some settings that shoudl allow this).

Just remember - if you want to change your mind and un-ignore, you can manage these in your usercp. Scroll down a bit and look for 'Ignore manager'

As a side note, it looks like you can also now ignore forums as well as specific threads. Just an FYI.

I had, and used, this 'ignore' option until I became a supporting member.
Now that option is no longer available to me.
Any idea why I can't ignore threads now?

I have an "ignore" feature in my mind. No big surprise to some of you, I'm sure.

To ignore a thread, You actually have to open that thread
Then you will see the thread tools and will be able to select ignore Thread.

** DOH! Just seen where MyKill fixed it Nevermind

I like that feature because there are thread I don't care for, like "Longest thread in the world." It's nice to shove that off to the side forever so that I don't have as many threads to look through, as I'm not necessarily online every day.

Do mods read this forum?

I posted in this thread to keep from opening a new one on the same subject, but maybe my issue is getting lost with all the replies of how it works for everyone else.

I am NOT able to ignore threads or forums.

I know how it is supposed to work, but that option is NOT available to me. It used to be, but the second I became a supporting member the option went away.

Yes I am logged in.

Yes I know it works for everyone else.

These are the only options available to me:

It is read every day by Mods and Admin, don't know what to tell you.The ignore option is there when I click on it. Hopefully Janet or one of the Techadmins sees this.
